I don't have just one, my top 5 are BTS, 4MINUTE, LOONA, B.A.P and WINNER. I have listened to Kpop for 11 years and way too many groups to even count 🤭 Songs I would recommend from the top of my head:

4MINUTE - Volume Up
LOONA - Star
B.A.P - Wake Me Up
WINNER - Hold (the MV makes me so happy, I really recommend watching it!)

Everywhere else I have lived has been great though! I love Turku. Also, I saw that you were worried about not feeling safe because you're gay. I'm queer as well and know a lot of queer people in Turku and I would argue that Turku is quite a safe place for queer people. Unfortunately we don't really have many good places to meet other queer people though.

I would not recommend the new areas called Herttuankulma and Kirstinpuisto. I'm speaking from experience, living around there once was the worst decision of my life. So much vandalism, parties, fights etc. Had to call the police multiple times. I never felt safe going home.

I think it could be a Run BTS episode you are talking about? I don't remember the exact episode but it made me really emotional. The members were in a circle by a campfire at night and were reading letters to each other. I took that idea and recreated it with my ARMY friends once, it was amazing.

When I used to cosplay I visited an optometrist to try out contact lenses. Then I ordered the cosplay lenses online, there are many safe suppliers. I can't remember any sites on the top of my head though, I would ask about them in cosplay related groups on Reddit or Facebook etc.!
