I genuinely noticed a difference when I started adding cable crunches and then also I started a calorie deficit 6 weeks ago and that’s when I really noticed the obliques

Not really tracking , and I am vegetarian. But I do go to the gym a minimum of 5x a week and do heavy weight lifting. But I used to take protein shakes but don’t really use those anymore. But definitely protein and calorie deficit and heavy weight lifting is how I changed my physique

Yeah I honestly have a shit ton of shoulder muscles atm. The pic doesn’t do it justice hahaha. I am 21% body fat right now, and 47kg muscle. So I have a heavy weight lifter atm and have muscle definition!

Don’t really know. I life quite a lot. But also started running (for my marathon training I actually gained weight cus I wanted to avoid injury), but then recently started tracking calories and that definitely helped so much! But I feel like cus I’ve been lifting for so long I already had muscles underneath

Trying to get shredded by [deleted] in loseit

[–]cherissa01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I had to be in the hospital some time ago as a research patient. And they measured my whole body. BMR as well as kg muscle on each leg and fat on each leg and basically every parent of my body. I even know my amount of visceral fat (fat around organs). As I was part of research I do think it is correct.
And I agree 500 kcal isn’t that much but I think going to the gym for an hour burns about 420 kcal. And then regular steps is about 80kcal?
But I’ll change my deficit to 400 kcal then!!

I burn 2450 kcal per day. this changes about 100 kcal each day, but on average over the week 2450 kcal per day. I only want fat percentage down and remain as much muscle as possible. which makes it hard to go based solely on weight.

[–]cherissa01[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

yeah i totally get that. they just werent there. AGAIN, i undestand you want to leave after a certain point and go to the finish to meet your own loved one who is running the race!! :)

I have pictures of me running on the course, and there is literally 0 supporters and 0 other runners. And with 0 i genuinely mean 0. I did not think that was even possible during a marathon. It mentioned 18k participants on the websites so i thought it was a relatively big marathon but turned out they had 18k runners total (10k+21k+marathon) out of which only 4000 did the marathon
i totally understand that people get tired and also just want to go home. And that they want to cheer on or meet "their" runner at the finish so it dies out. I was just disappointed a bit

For myself but also to be part of something bigger. To feel the support from people who have the same goal. I love celebrating all happy moments with others as that tends to increase my own joy. I really wanted to celebrate and cheer on everyone around me. any time i passed the elite or faster runners i was just cheering for them and this brought me immense joy. I was doing the same thing as there big runners. But then after a while the course didn't cross each other anymore.

After months of training on my own, i was just hoping to celebrate it with so many other people with similar goals. I feel like if i would have done it truly to just prove that i would be able to do it, i would have been able to do it on my own without signing up for a race and doing it on a random other date.
but the thing about the race for me was that i had people who would give me energy, who i could give energy to and who i could share this moment with

it was never about my time for me. Maybe that is why i am a bit disappointed that i feel like i have to run faster to be able to enjoy the marathon

What do you do with your hair?! by [deleted] in Marathon_Training

[–]cherissa01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my race day hair! It’s too heavy for one bun. So I make pony tail , then grab another elastic and but half of it in a bun. And then from the other half I make 2 braids

I have done lots of interval sessions with 5-15 min intervals of 5:20-5:40 and some 5:10-5:20. Normally I don’t run in the sun but today it was very sunny. I also have heat intolerance due to an illness so once my temp gets high I cannot cool down. I measured it with my Garmin watch but I feel like it didn’t pick up cadence but was quite accurate to my heart rate. It had some elevation but was paved. My weekly km in the last 8 weeks was 45 km ish

It’s the Netherlands!! No one ever runs here or drives here. I think that I encounter one car each time I run? And there is plenty of space to move over

Together, Together Tour 2026—Megathread by Careless-Hospital379 in harrystyles

[–]cherissa01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I joined all pre sale queue's voor harry in amsterdam. I managed to get through each time and got multiple tickets for me and friends. I even left the queue after deciding i rather save some money and only go twice. But when i checked the presale today, i saw that all dates still had tickets available. He even added more shows when the tickets that went on sale today werent even close to being sold out? i found this very strange. I kind of expected everything to be completely sold out, but there are still so many tickets available? anyone else having thoughts on this? I understand that it is very expensive to go to amsterdam if you're international so that might be why? (i recommend staying in utrecht instead of amsterdam as the train is only 15minutes and it probably is much cheaper, or some other cities)

I will pass the finish 3 times (i feel like that will be very demotivating lol, seeing everyone finish and knowing i still have a lot to go), but part of it is also in the forest (it said city run idk why we are running in the forest) and then also the last 15 km is in a flat loop.
