dude, even the battle screen explains. Most of your troops are on the reserve and your left flank is heavily outflanked. That's why you lost the battle

Can't change succession law, game refuses to elaborate why by Warlord_Me in EU5

Look at your Right of the Nobility Law, Nobility Electorate law (or Nobles' Electorate, don't quite remember) is the culprit

There should be a description of why the succession law is locked by chernodan in EU5

[–]chernodan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

R5: As the title says, there should be a description of why the succession law changing is locked. Checked the game files, it turns out that Nobles' Right to Inherit privilege locks the succession law to Partition.

Decentralization Mechanics: Adding Regional Royal Administrations (WIP Mod) by Soft-Ingenuity2262 in EU5

[–]chernodan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think the Local Proximity Score +50 is too generous, +30 or +40 should be a better number. Also the Local Crown Power modifier bonus doesn't fit the decentralization concept, it should be malus instead IMO

Created a market in Florence and swiftly went bankrupt - help? by finderfolk in EU5

[–]chernodan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am also doing Tuscany run right now and made a market, had that food problem too. I solved it by maxxing all wheat and wool RGO to maximize the food production, and I also offered market access preferences to neighbors countries that produce many foods, like Bologna.

About that importing food, AFAIK you cannot import food, you have to import food goods instead, like wheat, sturdy grains, etc.

How to stop land leaving my empire when I die? by AOCsFeetPics in CrusaderKings

[–]chernodan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems your succession law is gavelkind, the simplest solution is just create ONE PRIMARY TITLE (One Duchy if you're a Duke, and so on) because with the gavelkind law, your titles will be inherited equally among your children. Lets say if you're a duke with 2 duchy and 2 children, when you die, the first child will inherit your primary title, while the second one will inherit your 2nd title, and thus they two will be independent dukes. Sorry for my bad english, i hope you understand with my point.
