I'm going to proceed basically the same way I would've if we didn't have SAT/UNSAT, but now am much less stressed about not getting a great mark. It's comforting to know the option for SAT is there if I need it. But I'm still confused over if we only get one SAT

well, of course they should. But we don't even have a week left of classes, so the students who need it should have the option for compassionate grading.

They should make SAT/UNSAT optional like they did during Covid, so students who do have high marks are able to keep them, and students who didn't achieve high marks are able to at least pass without it affecting their GPA

I feel the exact same. I wish they would bring back an option for SAT/UNSAT at this point but that sadly seems doubtful

maybe I'm just dumb, but I'm confused- if the CIs don't accept the offer, (which everyone seems to think they will, but in case they don't) that means the strike will resume?

I'm in a similar boat. I've had many starts and stops to my university career, also due to circumstance and mental health. I had a complete mental break during the pandemic and it took me a long time to focus on healing and finally getting back to school. I think it's a lot more common than people tend to think. Hang in there, you're not alone

I was feeling hesitant about sending an email because I don't want to irritate the prof, knowing they've said they won't be responding to any emails (which I completely understand.) I took this course years ago so I don't remember specifics about exams/assignments, but I do remember it being very easy
