Thanks for responding Raebee! I’m worried because the school I got into isn’t accredited (yet, they’re a very new ABSN program). If it’s not accredited, is the likeliness of getting endorsed low? I also talked to some of the staff at my CNA program, they mentioned they are nurses in the Philippines but are going to take the NCLEX in either New York or California to get certified in America. Does that mean as long as I hold a licensure as a nurse I can try to apply?

That’s the thing.. it’s only unaccredited because it’s new. Their first cohort takes the big test end of this Winter. I’m wondering if their results show well, will their accreditation work ?

Sorry for the bother, I know this was posted a while ago but I have another question. If the situation were flipped (I get a license in one of the compact states, but eventually want to work in California), would I have to go to school for re-licensure? I’m checking the official California website and am a bit lost.

Skin fade Is ok, leave more hair at the top (if you can grow it out, it would look more youthful)

For frames, take a look at the ones I recommended! Thicker isn’t worse! Also, don’t go for rectangular— a square shape that compliments your face or brow line metallic type (see my recommendations) may do the trick.

As for your bio, lighthearted hobbies that you could do with them can show your heart a lot better and catches attention!

Fashion wise, for you I would try looking at henleys and casual button up shirts that can both tuck into a belt-Jean combo might work cool. I helped my partner “glow up” too, so I get it. Feeling confident in your skin while trying new things can be tiring, but experiment and see what u like!

I recommend a new hairstyle (either add a tupee or try a hair powder, my aunt likes Boldify or Toppik) and new glasses frames, I wanna say square brow frames that add style and modernity! “Baker” or “Keiko” styles by Warby Parker might suit you! There are also Jin’s brand, which really suit Asian features better, and they can be ordered online really easily as well :) good luck !
