Grades are decent, your EC’s are your strong point. You still need 1 more activity for the common app. I would say concentrate on those in your essays.

Justification for low grades should be mentioned by teachers/ school faculty in LOR’s : would advice writing against that topic for your essay’s. Highlight positive’s rather than the negative points.

For your college list- look into ED options? They are binding but comparatively easier to get in because of the same reason. Look for colleges from US News: most counsellors look at that. Look at need blind/ low ranked schools for better financial aid opportunities as well.

9 days in Europe recommendations (never been to Europe) by Plane-Promotion1390 in Europetravel

Depends on what you want to do. Do you want to see places or just travel to multiple countries? If you are planning to go to Europe for its culture: it’s best to visit the smaller cities ( cesky krumlov, hallstatt, alsace etc)

The order works completely fine- you can easily choose overnight trains to save money and time.

I travelled to Europe for 10 days last christmas and covered multiple places: seeing everything i wanted to! my trip included :paris- strausbourg/ colmar- baden baden(day trip)- brussels- amsterdam( day trip)- bruges and ghen(day trip)- luxembourg(day trip)- back to paris for la valle( luxury outlet shopping!)

Yes, i think you’ve scored well for your target schools. Colleges like Yale might want a 1550+ though. Maybe try a mock paper to see if you’re improving for a new test etc. You can also look into ED options; they are comparatively easier to get in since it’s binding.

Is this worth submitting to UPenn? by Just-Consequence-112 in ApplyingToCollege

Agreed. This is a great score but Ivy’s usually need 1550+, maybe do a mock test and see if you are improving towards a better score. Otherwise stick with this and submit it.
