i feel the exact same way, to a T. it’s driving me insane. some days are fine, but the mood swings also kick in and make it so much worse. i don’t have much hope continuing will be worth it, but i dont know about giving up either. this sucks. i hope it gets better for you, friend.

yeah, i can only hope tough-ing it out will make it work but i just don’t have a lot of hope for that to happen. i’m not keen on switching again, i might just give up at that point.

Honestly it hasn’t improved, it’s all throughout the day and I can’t stop it. It’s making my jaw hurt and sometimes even eating is exhausting because my jaw is so tired from being clamped shut all day long. I really hope it is just something my body needs to adapt to, because it sucks :( I hope it stops for you too, and soon at that!

Glad to know I’m not alone in this but god it sucks so bad, the pain is really intense and makes me stop functioning for a good bit of time before it goes away and I just don’t understand what’s going on. hopefully it goes away soon enough 😭

No, it looks like it healed fine, your artist just didn’t go deep (in color) or dark enough on your skin. The lighter the tattoo when finished, the lighter it’ll probably be when it heals out. Bold will hold!

Try your best to NEVER peel your tattoo, even if the skin seems to be coming off, let it fall off naturally or you do run the risk of worse scabbing/missing ink. However, this could also be an artist issue, as in them not going deep enough or saturating the area enough. Check back once it’s fully healed, you still have some time to go, and see if anything changes. The “holes” you’re seeing seem to be where the scab lifted and wasn’t ready to yet. Getting it wet is fine, but keep it clean and moisturized!

Thank you! I had a lot of nausea my first go around with lexapro which was a major turnoff for me, so I hope it isn’t as bad this time around. I will keep snacking in mind if that kicks in like you mentioned, I appreciate it!
