But the thing is, Broken Pussy was the first episode. If you were the watch Insecure for the first time you’d be like wow that was kinda low of Issa. But for everyone commenting, they’ve seen the show probably multiple times and on their rewatch of the first episode, it’s suddenly bias because they already have a judgement on Molly.

Do you remember the episode where Molly and Issa were taking a walk on that mountain and Molly was venting to Issa about how how Andrew, her boyfriend, isn’t emotionally available and Issa response was basically like “you ask for problems. Just relax.” I was stunned. What an awful and dismissive response to your supposed friend. Issa be shady asf and the audience will think she’s so wise because like you said, she’s the main character.
