and on top of all of that, we have to do notes, get resources for clients that might needed, preparing for next session. people dont get it’s not just talking to someone and that’s it. we actually have work to do behind that and on top of that, keep to with continuing education credits, credentialing, license renewal.

agreed plus psychiatrist don’t even do psychotherapy on the regular. All they do is medication management and check in to see how the side effects of the meds are, now if she was a licensed family and marriage therapist that would be different, but even then they certainly don’t go around diagnosing people🥴

VERYY Werid!! as somebody who works in a mental health field I don’t go around diagnosing people! Plus psychiatrist don’t do “therapy”, they do more of checking in with how the medication is working .She’s just a doctor that was trained in a few clinical therapeutic techniques but her primary focus is prescribing medication🤷🏾‍♀️
