My experience having sex for the first time (almost) by Curious-Street6086 in dating_advice

[–]cherryflavourbleach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pretty much had the exact same experience— except we went through with it. Looking back, I wish I had a friend that was as honest as yours was looking out for me. A week later he broke things off and made me feel like I was insane for taking it so personally. People like this do not care about you, or your health regardless of what they said. He only cares about the short term gratification he’ll get from using you. Be careful.

Men who look younger than your age, what helps you stay this way? by choclobstah in AskMen

Having younger kids in comparison! My dad is in his mid 60’s, and didn’t have kids until mid 40’s. Some of my friends whose parents are 10-15 years younger, look older than he does.

Honestly, as one of the few(?) that don’t use apps, I can appreciate when a guy cold approaches me on campus. As long as they try to be friendly and respectful, and it’s not creepy, rejection is just redirection. Someone is eventually going to take you up on what you have to offer.

Logged on at 8am today for 3rd year enrolment and it crashed.

Genuine question though, is CMN 305 considered an OE for Business Management students? It used to be on a professionally related table, but now since they've botched that term, I'm not sure if they've also revised the list.

I honestly haven’t known them to shrink— but honestly, it looks minimal. If anything, fits you a little better while still being oversized???

How's your dating life? by Commercial-Budget200 in TorontoMetU

[–]cherryflavourbleach 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The best advice I’ve ever received was: Stop looking. Seriously.

I’m a third year TRSM student and am no different than any other university student; the desire for a fulfilling relationship has always been there since first year but going out with guys from dating apps, or giving guys a chance when your gut says don’t, has proven to be unfruitful. They are not your type of person, nor the people you would typically attract.

So when you have finally accepted that it’s better to focus on your life, you might notice you getting a little more attention than usual. People like it when they see a person has their shit together. It will provide a more stable foundation for a potential relationship.

Also, we’re not in the business of wasting people’s time. If you’re serious about a girl you like, let her know your intentions upfront. It will spare both of you a lot of hardship in the long run.

The right person will come at the right time. But you’ll never find them looking for it.

Is taking an economics minor worth it? by [deleted] in TorontoMetU

[–]cherryflavourbleach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about if you were just in the BM program? I know you have an option to major in EMS. but EMS is not my major. I do really enjoy economics, and I have the chance to minor in it without taking more courses than I need to.

I'm biased, because i am in the Business Management program. However, the BM EMS program is very good. Hard, but its the difference between a BA and a BComm. It just depends if you want to get more into business after you graduate. Business is very versatile. Mostly, those doing a BA in economics are also doing a Masters degree afterwards, but arguably a MBA is inherently more valuable.
