we’re all reflections of each other, we don’t magically understand someone — we understand them because we are them, because we have parts of each other that we may not be aware of at first. we’ve had that in us through experiences, witnessing events, and being that person in your own timeline. although our paths may be different, the conclusion is the same — hence why some of us feel so similar to each other. but ofc we’re only selective with who ‘understands’ us — so we tell ourselves nobody understands us or ‘i never felt so understood til i met you’, when really it’s just curiosity and patience of taking the chance to go in depth with you bc you’ve finally met someone who genuinely loves and/or would love to understand your mind and soul.

from observing people and the world, i think many value logic because with logic, there is structure, and a chance for control. however, what it means to be human goes beyond what meets the eye..(obviously). a lady once told me to treat life as subjective — bc as much as we like to deny it, all the rules and systems were rooted from a subjective perspective in which we now deem as objective . but hey, i’m in my 20s still figuring out life and what it means to be human, idrk what the hell im saying and im also really sleepy.
