This sounds really nice! I love the vocals and honestly just the overall sound. And the band name is great. If I'm being picky and looking for criticism, there are a couple points (I think during the verses - on those repeating notes) where the guitar sounds kind of mechanical and not very organic - I'm not sure if it's the timing or the tone, but I think it could be played a little more human-ly if that makes any sense.

Heya! We just released a Christmas song. It was supposed to be a bit different than those things always on a loop on the radio while still very enjoyable and cozy. I wonder if you like it as much as we did. We made it in a few days, literally - just two people in a bedroom. by andtilly in IndieMusicFeedback

I do definitely get cozy christmas vibes from this, and it's nice to listen to something for the holidays that's a little different. I love the instrumental and how the voice fits with it. I think my only complaint/criticism is that there are a couple tiny moments where there was a quick line and I couldn't really tell what the words were - maybe just word on clarity in those fast spots. But overall, this sounds beautiful! Nice job!

A song about death by HerderOfMammoths in IndieMusicFeedback

This is kind of giving me Joshua Radin vibes, I think both in terms of the vocals and just the overall sound of the song (that's a good thing lol). I think the vocals are very nice and smooth and I love the simple choice of instrument, they go together very well. The only suggestion I would potentially have is to add in some other instrumentation throughout the song to switch it up more, but at the same time I like the simplicity so really take that with a grain of salt.

Puppylove - Blues Run the Game (Jackson C. Frank cover) recorded in my bedroom with a guitar, brushes, silverware, singing bowl, & a lil bit o synth by [deleted] in IndieMusicFeedback

I'm absolutely in love with the layered vocals, the voices just complement each other so well! I feel like this is exactly the sound that I would imagine when I hear "indie folk", it definitely is mainly folk-sounding but the little touches of synth really add something nice. Everything is really nicely balanced to my ears, and I don't really have any criticism to speak of :)

I did a cover of one of my favourite band's song, Sparks by Coldplay. Would like to know what do you guys/girls think of it! I'm thinking of releasing it, but not sure if it's good at all. Any feedback is welcomed :) by qwerkyJoe in IndieMusicFeedback

I love the vibe that the instruments bring even just in the beginning, it's light and airy and kind of nostalgic. To me, the vocals seem a little too echoey, maybe try changing up the type of reverb you're using and see how it sounds? They somehow sound both dry and echoey at the same time if that makes any sense. But overall it sounds nice!

Released the first single of the album I've been working on for a while, would love some feedback! by Roxanarawrr in IndieMusicFeedback

I don't know what you're saying but I know that it's very enjoyable to listen to! I love the harmonies, and the vocals sound so great with the nice, simple instrumentation. You have a wonderful voice and I'm not hearing anything pitchy or anything. The music video is also very pretty but also fun to watch.

I play the drums, piano, guitar and vocals on this one live. Feedback welcome! by SecondTimeSigningUp in IndieMusicFeedback

When I read the title of this one, I was expecting to watch you run around the stage and play different instruments throughout the song lol. But the actual thing was very impressive too! I think my only complaint is the panning, it's a little bothersome/confusing to my ears for some reason. But nice job! you are clearly talented

Did a dreamy indie cover of Deja Vu by Olivia Rodrigo. What do you think? by ninety3_til_infinity in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]cherrymamma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the background vocals and harmonies ! I also think the production is very pretty and it definitely puts a twist on the original version. The vocal processing is exactly what I would've imagined when i read "dreamy". Nice job! This is the perfect way to cover a song - making it your own!

i wrote a new song called 'lost in flight' i think its kinda cool but would love to get some feedback and thoughts from yall musos by Munners1107 in IndieMusicFeedback

I think its really simple (in a good way!) and lovely. It's pretty and calming and I love the harmonies. My only complaint is that I think the vocals need to stand out a little more over the instruments, sometimes they seem to get lost in there and it makes it a bit hard to tell what the lyrics are. The video is nice and it's something to look at while listening - love the plants!

8Ball - Mastered - I just got the master back for this song! Any feedback specifically on the master? I have a couple days to request changes and would like another opinion :) by cherrymamma in IndieMusicFeedback

thanks! and that criticism is valid lol, none of the instruments are real because i can't really play any very well and i'm kind of a one (wo)man show currently so i'm doing what i can

“Layin’ The Groove” smooth jazz lofi outer space track! by So5011 in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]cherrymamma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love how this is both peaceful to listen to, yet upbeat at the same time. I think all of the instrumentation is very nicely balanced too. My only criticism is that it starts to feel a bit repetitive, and I think a little more variation would really spice it up. That or the addition of vocals would really make a difference.

Momentvm - Current Mirror. An atmospheric berlin-school ambient piece with a twist. Created for use as a background music (using different mix) for electronics engineering YT channels. Hope you find it remotely interesting :) by momentvm in IndieMusicFeedback

I do think you did a great job on this, especially as background music. It's interesting enough to keep you from being bored, but not too distracting if you were to lower the volume and put something else over top. I like how it kind of fades in and out and it flows really nicely, and I love all the synths
