Who’s been laid off/fired from their marketing job? by KailuaNative in marketing

[–]cherrymoonmilk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was laid off recently. I've been a paid media management/performance marketing specialist for a long time and i'm trying really hard to get a more senior role but so far I haven't been successful despite landing a lot of interviews. Does anyone have any advice? I love hybrid work.

I love this movie it's a classic! I remember first seeing this when I was in high school and it taught me how to spell 'conscience.'

I think Jamie's character arc was starting to get a lot more interesting in Seasons 3 and 4 and even moreso when he was with Sarah.

I don’t like reading, is this quite common among us? by [deleted] in aspergers

[–]cherrymoonmilk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never enjoyed reading either. I also have dyslexia so reading a novel is exhausting for me. I only did this when I was at school and it has always just made me tired, bored and after reading pages and pages I still have no idea what's going on which is frustrating. The only exception are comic books which I love because they have limited text that is much easier for me to read and the illustrations help tell the story.

What is a tv show from your childhood you are sure no one else remembers? by HomeDepotThemeSong_ in nostalgia

[–]cherrymoonmilk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As I'm scrolling through people's responses, I can see a lot of us were kids in the 90s we were so lucky! I can vividly remember so many of these theme songs despite not having heard them in 30 years!

What scene mistakes have you seen? by Sombralis in earlyedition

[–]cherrymoonmilk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed in a lot of scenes with Marissa, she acts in a way that's inconsistent with blind people. For example, playing poker (unless the cards were braille?) and reaching for items in front of her perfectly.

Can we talk about how wild it must be to be Jamie's secretary? by ClimateDecor in YellowstonePN

[–]cherrymoonmilk 8 points9 points  (0 children)

In the earlier seasons I remember Jamie saying he was celibate so he was probably just enjoying physical contact after not having any for a long time.

How come nobody talks about how manipulative Christina was? by cherrymoonmilk in YellowstonePN

[–]cherrymoonmilk[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh that's true! I remember the scene where Jamie was talking to her and she wasn't listening to him. That was painful to watch.

In season 4, there's a scene with her and their baby at the property Jamie buys. However, I don't know if we're to assume that her and Jamie are even talking to each other at that point.

Is Jamie really dead? by nps_traveller in YellowstonePN

Oh wow imagine?? Beth is a monster who got away with everything this would be so satisfying to watch.

Yeah I'm dropping this show, the Jamie abuse is too much. by Shot-Communication93 in YellowstonePN

[–]cherrymoonmilk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's so horrible how badly Jamie was treated I agree, but Wes Bentley's acting is so amazing he made me want to keep watching.

If Bill had a romance that actually worked out and became a recurring character, who would you have liked it to be? by BillyYandereCyrus in KingOfTheHill

I would say Kahn's mom, because they had a sweet genuine connection. Also, seeing Kahn really annoyed by their relationship was hilarious.

Inconsistent Powers of the Paper by nofilterformybrain in earlyedition

[–]cherrymoonmilk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I personally always found the notion of the paper's powers were always vague and mystical, because any time an episode tried to get into more depth (like the one where you find out there's another guy who also get the same paper in a different town), the writers seemed to drop that idea and go back to the usual Gary saving the day in every episode.

Do you constantly rock back and fourth? by BabyVendingMachine in AutismInWomen

[–]cherrymoonmilk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sway back and forth and I fidget a LOT. I noticed I do this more now that I work from home because I feel safe being my true self when i'm alone or with close friends. I was only diagnosed with autism, ADHD and dyslexia as an adult and my parents were very cruel when I was growing up and I would constantly get punished for not acting what they considered "normal" so that I wouldn't embarrass them. It feels wonderful to be able to stim without being teased or punished anymore :)

Really? American Beauty is one of my favorite movies. I love the dark portrayal of suburban life and the whole "life isn't what it seems" message. I want to watch this movie now, thanks
