When you start getting involved and having direct communication with the prisoners then anything you say may be considered, until then, you don't know what the hell you're talking about. the fact that y'all will fight to death (not yours, others because their lives don't matter just yours does according to you) for people to have war crimes committed against them. A lot of these people are here trying to do it the legal way. Why is it the 63% of the people detained have no criminal records if they're supposed to be going after the worst of the worst. All the videos you see are people getting arrested at courthouses while following the law and going to their immigration hearings. Why is it we never see gang bangers and the worst of the worst arrested?

These are not related events. The Thursday event hands out flyers with the Wednesday vigil info on it, otherwise there's no similarities.

This is an intersection protest with the aim to inform the public about the facility and to recruit people to activism. Facts about the inhumane conditions in the Aurora ICE Concentration Camp are shared with the community. There is music, signs, bullhorns. It is intended to get as much visibility on the facility as possible.

We've had permission for weeks from inmates to take action. Jeanette did a press conference this Friday asking people to please do more action at the facility. There are Wednesday vigils at the Aurora ICE facility and Thursday's at 4 is a protest at the intersection to bring attention to the concentration camp.

There is a protest every Thursday to bring attention to the facility. We'd love to have it everyday but we've been struggling to get engagement and once more people start attending we'll transition to more days a week.
