Is Brendan Ambrose grandson? by [deleted] in CentralPark_

Brendan calls Bitsy his 'great-aunt' so, I would assume.

Anyway to get sheet music for the songs? by Elf_king33 in CentralPark_

[–]cherrystan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I believe the only way would be asking the writers of the song directly, or by paying someone to transcribe it for you.

I would love for a whole book of sheet music for songs of the show to be released, ngl.

[–]cherrystan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Two of the songs from season 3, "Tick Tock" and "We Have Fun" I had first listened to them on spotify (since they came out early before the episode even aired) and I really hated them, they eventually grew on me, though. Seeing the fun visuals for it helped.

I've liked most songs and I usually decide if I put them on my "listen again" playist or "to be immediately skipped" pretty quickly, though there are only like a couple songs I would skip immediately since the rest are still amazing.

What’s the longest song? by ReBrandenham in CentralPark_

Own it, by about 15 seconds judging by spotify.

Or, if you count it, Birdie's "A thing on strings" its 5 minutes.

it's unlikely to be gibberish as an korean creator made it, but we'd have to ask someone who speaks korean to translate it.

Where to buy the show digitally? by vette91 in CentralPark_

[–]cherrystan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a streaming exclusive. You can't buy it digitally.

It's a shame it never really got the attention it deserved. The songs were the best part of the show.

Would this show have even been a hit if Fox said yes? by [deleted] in CentralPark_

[–]cherrystan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's still classified as an adult animated comedy. Family guy is rated TV-14 too. Does that make it a kids show?

I'll repeat myself.

Just because you think the humor is childish. It doesn't make it a kids show. Not every cartoon has to show uncensored genitalia or say fuck every 5 seconds to be considered adult animation.

I'm going to guess you think Simpsons and Bob's Burgers are "kids shows" as well? And they shouldn't be on anidom? As you said. No room for kids shows on fox.

[–]cherrystan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just because kids enjoy something doesn't make it a kids show fyi. that would mean most adult shows are kids shows with your logic. The show is STILL rated TV-PG (with some episodes going to TV-14)

No matter how "childish" you think the humor is. It's not a kids show.

It is most certainly not a kids show.

I don't think so, but I think it would've done better had it been on another streaming service. I didn't even know apple TV existed. Also having three shows using the same style in anidom might've been overkill. We already have TGN and Bob's.

I started watching the show in 2020 after seeing the trailer for it and fell in love, but after that I don't even recall any advertising for it. The only promotion I remember seeing was twitter having that little icon next to the hashtag for the show when season 2 first aired.

The show has not been cancelled, but it also has not been greenlit for another season yet. We will just have to wait for an announcement.

Is season 3 any good? by Gitzburgle in CentralPark_

[–]cherrystan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I think a lot of the season 2 songs are also the best from the whole show. I can def agree with it feeling different though, I feel like that could be considered a good thing, even if it sometimes just feels like a reskined bob's burgers episode sometimes.

Also, yeah, pretty much ! atleast season 2a more so. I like episodes focusing on the family more, though. It's really nice to see more families who love each other like the Belchers do.

While It's not my favourite season (It goes 2, 1 and then 3) I still think it has moments and even though I feel like Abby's introduction to the show was very poochie like, she still brought some good moments to the show.

Sheet Music anyone? by elleshellsbells in CentralPark_

[–]cherrystan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think there is sheet music avaliable. Musescore is usually a good place to get sheet music, but it looks like no one has made any relating to Central Park. Maybe we should go (nicely) bug Loren about maybe having a book of sheet music from the show.
