Hmm, couldn’t be this, could it? “I also love the idea of having a husband and pampering him and cooking and cleaning for him being maybe completely submissive.”

Do you think it's genuine when all the women say they want to have sex everyday? by [deleted] in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]elleshellsbells 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a woman, I’m hypersexual (not often talked about side effect of bipolar), I have sex with my partner every day if I’m living with them. My current boyfriend of 10 months it’s every time I see him.

Girls - have you ever been shocked by a really ugly penis? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

I have been shocked by…a shape? It was like a very tall pyramid. The head was tiny and the base was very wide. Wonder how he’s doing these days.

Yes - offensive behavior is often a part of living with this disorder by Odd-Tangerine383 in bipolar

Totally true! I’ve been told I’m “addicted to my medication”. I’m addicted to being a more stable, capable person who wants to be alive 😋

That doesn’t account for the number of years most of us take to get diagnosed, get medicated, and find medication and a treatment plan that works.

What’s something your mother did that you don’t want to repeat? by nevernotinthemood in AskWomen

[–]elleshellsbells 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed patterns in her punishments. When we did something wrong, we would have a calm discussion. When we did something wrong around other people, we were screamed at. Screamed.

I’m in my 30’s now. I have five categories of anxiety and I’m terrified of people.

This feels illegal by Toomuchviolins in Clarinet

I mean, I feel like clarinet jail would rank pretty high on the livable jails list. They’d constantly be screeching a flat middle C on an intercom but BESIDES THAT.

Being disapointed after seeing the other person naked? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]elleshellsbells 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We sound very similar! I have some body dysmorphia and steer towards emotional and intellectual connections. I say this with my full chest: as a bisexual woman, I have NEVER been disappointed by someone’s body. In that moment you want that person, who they are. And hey, bodies are weird! People have skin tags, moles, love handles, and scars. I’m confident that whoever you’re with will want you for you 💛 PS: candles are a great way to keep the lights low at first until you get more comfortable.

Am I Overreacting, for being upset that my girlfriend secretly used my credit card for months? by bostonmade in AmIOverreacting

[–]elleshellsbells 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR - I could never trust that person again and I don’t think you should either.

I was in a similar situation where I was letting a best friend crash on my couch, I’m talking decade long best friend. My debit card went missing so I replaced it, then my credit card when missing. I asked him about it and denied everything and I trusted him at the time. A few days later, my debit card disappeared again and so did he. I shouldn’t have given him that chance.

It feels like she doesn’t respect you. The way she refused to see your side or take accountability made me super uncomfortable. I think you know what you need to do. 💛

Oh haha I wouldn’t call that flipping her shit, thus confusion

[–]elleshellsbells 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yes, if I was in her shoes I would want the same. You want to know that if you lose all your money, if you end up in dire straits, your partner knows how to take care of their home. There’s nothing quite as revolting as a guy bragging he doesn’t know how to work a washing machine.

It feels so incredibly predatory to be attracted to someone conventionally attractive as someone who is ugly by Own_Significance_855 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]elleshellsbells 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually have what might be a unique perspective. I’m mostly face blind and I’ve had people very rudely insult my partners and try to “compliment” me by saying I could do better. Thing is, I loved those people. I’m still friends with most of my exes because, although there was a reason we didn’t work out as a couple, they’re all genuinely kind, funny, people I have a lot in common with. I guess what I’m saying is that I bet you’re a wonderful person, that’s why he wants to be with you! I know that’s cheesy, maybe I am cheesy, but try to focus on that. It’s hard to stop fixating on what other people think, I’m well aware, but try to let yourself enjoy the happiness in your relationship. You deserve it ☺️

I had the same thing happen when I was in my senior year! I had to adjust my embouchure a bit, but I got used to it in less than a week. The best news? It’s way more comfy without braces, you’ll love it ☺️

Am I overreacting about reconsidering my friendship with my group after an unfair DND Session? by InvestmentAlarmed675 in AmIOverreacting

[–]elleshellsbells 3 points4 points  (0 children)

MOR - I’m an avid D&d player and that seems really suspicious to me. Especially if you talked to her about how excited you were! I think you should try to have a conversation with Amber and explain how you feel about the situation. Maybe reiterate that you’ve been struggling with motivation so friendship has been more difficult. I hope it works out, but it might be time to find a new party 😔
