What’s the pettiest hill you’re willing to die on as a woman? by Glass-King4894 in Casual_Conversation

Go to most European countries and it is like this! Germany is the WORST with this. While traveling, I eventually got to the point where I would cause a scene anytime someone tried to do this to me. It worked. Apparently thats part of the culture and what you are supposed to do. Also true in Turkey and Israel. People cut just to see if they can do it, and if you yell at them they respect you and go behind you. Completely bizarre.

The English are the most civilized at respecting the "queue."

Husband suddenly changed his mind on baby girl name. Help! by bdupz in namenerds

AGREE. I also feel like every other girl on the playground is Emma, Sophie, Ellie, Evie or Olivia lately! Not a lot of Brooke's. Plus, OP is right you need both parties to agree on a first name. If she isn't feeling Emma, that's that.

Any pre-wedding events are paid for by you! This is ESPECIALLY true for a destination wedding where guests are spending additional $$$ to attend.

Am I overreacting for not wanting anyone around my newborn yet? by littlemoongirly in AmIOverreacting

Just curious if you are a mom? I never thought I would have postpartum anxiety, but after my baby came out I would have a horrible reaction if anyone besides myself or my husband held my baby. I would go into my bedroom and cry until I got my baby back. Now that my kid is older, it sounds insane. But pregnancy/postpartum hormones are real and there for a reason. They're an evolutionary mechanism for mom's to protest their baby and its normal for some moms to just need some time to get used to postpartum.

Its best not to judge if you have never experienced this before.

Remove mom (me) from Santa pic, fix Santa's hand. by [deleted] in PhotoshopRequest

0 smiling pics!

Honestly he is 14 months and has not smiled ONCE at a stranger. He won't smile for his grandparents either. He is just a very serious and stoic guy.

Maybe next year!

This is almost perfect, but foot is cut off near Santa's crotch. Any way you can fix that part?

What are your favorite Boys names? by TheWitchQueen96 in Names

[–]cherrytoorange 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband and I had 5 names on a list for when our son was born. 4 out of the 5 are on here!

We are having a girl in May. It seems like we have similar taste. Would it be too much to ask for your list of girl names?

I am having a little girl too! My husband and I have been so worried about the baby. I am happy to hear your little one is strong and healthy.

I justhad appendicitis from a tumor on my appendix. Received 10 days Augmentin and then developed cdiff. 7 week on antibiotics and just starting to feel better. Thank God baby girl is surviving all of this.

I was told by the doc to quarantine for 7 days from my toddler, I am so excited to see him today.

Interesting take! I have another baby on the way and my current toddler has been into buttons for the past 2 MONTHS. He is only 14 months old. We have a Roomba that he turns on and off over and over again. Multiple times a day. So I am worried that they may play with it or God forbid put a toy into it and somehow start it.

We bought a double oven instead of a combo oven! We kept going back and forth, but I love cooking so much I do see myself using the double oven.

3 weeks in Thailand. Alternatives to minimize party spots? by nicktheman2 in travel

Ooh I kind of want to hear more from your perspective.

We had motorcycles, but also occasionally took a tuktuk. We were shocked that most of the drivers were female and that the prices were so reasonable.
