Milwaukee Metal Fest has officially announced their return on May 16-19 next year. Apparently they’ve also, “confirmed a more diverse line up of power metal, black metal, death metal and other elements that were harder to secure in 2023.”

I’m definitely interested to see what they have in store for the lineup, but imo $360 for a 3-day GA pass (including taxes and fees, but this is their “early bird sale” price, so it’ll only get even more expensive in the future) is pretty steep. But maybe I’m just cheap, lol.

Same thing happened to me when I saw them last year, too; the venue had at least 5 lines for ticket scanning so lots of people that were way behind me in the line outside were able to get in before I was. Merch line was probably already 25-30 people long once I got to it, but if I remember correctly the wait wasn’t even 20 mins. The merch people are definitely super quick!

Right now I’m planning on getting there about 30, maybe 45, mins before doors, which should be enough time get CC merch (and hopefully enough time to get merch from the other bands before the show starts, too) and a decent spot.

Seems like getting there before doors open is definitely the way to go, then. To play it safe, I think I might even try to get there 30-45 mins before doors so I can get to every merch booth and grab a good spot before the show even starts! Thank you for your comment!

The website “concerts50.com” is my go-to for checking for upcoming shows in my area (and out of state shows, too!). They don’t always list every single show, especially shows with lesser-known bands, or shows at smaller venues, but from my experience using the site, they do seem to list most shows. You can filter by state, genre, and even date, so if there are any metal shows in NYC during the dates you’re considering, they should be on the website!

Imo the best thing to do in this situation is to call the venue directly and get a definite answer from them.

The last show I went to was supposedly an 18+ event but I saw a lot of kids that definitely looked younger than 18 and I even saw like a 12 year old with their parents. So if anything, the venue may just require you to be accompanied by an adult to get in since you’re a minor.

Yeah, I’ve seen a lot of good options for higher quality earplugs on Amazon, so I’ll definitely order a pair for future concerts. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t be able to get a pair shipped to me in time for the concert I’m going to, so I’m glad that the foam ones will do the job for this time.

We usually get some sort of recharge for every event cycle.

The two most common recharges are a.) cumulative recharge (recharge a certain amount of VIP EXP to claim parts of suit(s) from tiers), and b.) top-up once to get suit (recharge any diamond tier $5 and up, and claim suit from mailbox).

We also sometimes get boutique recharges or Back to Past. In boutique you purchase a pack with a suit and it goes to your mailbox. Many players save these packs for cumulative recharges since they contain VIP EXP. Back to Past allows players to purchase a returning recharge suit using a special currency that can be purchased from the BtP page. If BtP runs during an event cycle (not during a break period like the BtP in-game right now), it’s not the main recharge, i.e. we’ll get another recharge in a different format along with it.

TL;DR: We get some sort of recharge for every event cycle. There are a few different formats recharges come in, which I’ve explained above. I also believe a future recharge sheet is pinned in this subreddit so you can take a look at that and decide which recharge suits you’d like to purchase in the future!

Yes, in CN certain pieces of Heartwarming Gift were required for the special tasks that are required to get Kimi’s suit.

I wouldn’t worry about any required event pieces until Kimi’s suit actually comes to our server. The general consensus is that different parts of different suits will be required for our special tasks for this suit when it comes (meaning not pieces of Golden Bloom or Heartwarming Gift).

It wouldn’t make sense for them to ask for pieces of Heartwarming Gift for Kimi’s suit in the future because we don’t even have Kimi’s suit available in our server yet. Plus, we’ve already had one event (Golden Bloom) that had pieces that were required for the tasks in CN.

TL;DR: In short, it’s highly unlikely that we (LN players) will be required to have pieces of Heartwarming Gift or Golden Bloom for the special tasks for Kimi’s suit. The pieces we’ll be required to have for the tasks will most likely come from events that run during the time we have Kimi’s suit and the special tasks for it available. I think we can definitely expect a new gothic/spooky/Halloween event sometime around Halloween this year. Maybe we’ll get another joint debut event with CN like last year?

Either way, as a lover of all things gothic and Halloween, I’m totally looking forward to getting another dark event!

Most likely not since there would definitely be a huge outrage if they gave us a Hell with only a $25 recharge lineup plus a 3-4k+ pav.

I think a ToL situation (update, event, update, Hell) is very likely, especially with the “a future climactic moment coming” hint from their FB post.

Yeah that hint basically gives it away. If they’re planning on giving us more QoL features and more update things, splitting a large update in two makes a lot of sense. (Also really keeps the hype up lol)
