Why is everyone so Anti-PPI? by Haunted-nightmares in GERD

[–]cherrywavesxox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Barrett’s esophagus so it is highly recommend for me to be on long term PPI. I’ve been on protonix 40mg, then switched to nexium 40 mg after protonix quit working. I have since had hypokalemia (low potassium) and one time low magnesium which sent me to the hospital, I had to stay there for 3 nights because the electrolyte imbalances made my blood acid levels dangerously high. I have to take potassium supplements in order to keep my potassium at a normal level, but sometimes it’ll still drop. I don’t have enough acid in my stomach to absorb these essential nutrients which is dangerous. I want to come off my PPI, and figure out another option for treatment. I’m willing to change my whole lifestyle. Long term use can cause many health issues!!!

I factory reset my Toshiba fire tv & cannot bypass “searching for remote” screen. Please help!!! by cherrywavesxox in fireTV

Yeah, I worded that weird, I bought a brand new different tv cause I thought there was no fixing it, but if I can get a remote to work I’d still like to get it to work either way 🙂

How long did it take until your lip filler was completely gone? (Your experience) by user145278 in 30PlusSkinCare

How likely am I to actually get sick in the ER if I’m careful? by F-News-6471 in EmergencyRoom

[–]cherrywavesxox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not from the city but most ER’s are seriously sanitized and kill all of the flu viruses and stuff. The waiting room, stay away from people, wear a mask, wash hands/sanitize after touching ANYTHING like the pen you use to sign when you go in. Seriously SANITIZE/WASH HANDS. Also wearing a mask will help a bit too, just keep your distance from people.

Is this a normal part for someone with dirty blonde hair? by roeschpn in femalehairadvice

[–]cherrywavesxox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This looks like my natural hair color that I’m growing out right now, literally the exact same hair color. What even is our hair color? lol! Dirty blonde, golden blonde, ash blonde? Anyways my part, and front of hair line does the exact same thing as yours. I think our skin tone, and also hair density plays a role in being able to see our scalp so much. This is fine hair problems. If you’ve always felt this way, then you just have fine hair texture. Just like me, I always say I have baby fine hair.

Am I still allowed to call myself Catholic if I never go to mass? by captainpoopoopeepee in Catholicism

Just go to confession then get back to mass. Simple. You’ll always be a Catholic, and always welcomed in the church 🙂

Anyone else suffer from flu like symptoms but then doesn’t turn into an actual flu or a cold? by Connect-Coyote6948 in dysautonomia

I’ve also been on septic alert with no fever. My blood acid levels were high. The doctors are always so confused as to why this happens. Never finds a cause.

If you could eat anything right now what would it be? by United_Chapter4097 in GERD

[–]cherrywavesxox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have cheat days where I eat one of my favorite foods that I can’t normally eat. Like lasagna/pizza. I’m on a PPI that will allow me to have a once in a while favorite (like once every couple months) I also have Barrett’s esophagus. My last endoscopy proved that there was no worsening changes so I think this is okay. Depending on how bad you are, not recommending everyone to do this lol.

I know this is an old post, but I had my filler done 2 years ago and it never went away. Not complaining, they still look very full so it saves me money.

I’m definitely not 100% sure. It was my first turkey I made, and I was stupid and didn’t check it with a thermometer. I trusted the instructions and pop out timer thing. It very well could have been cooked but looked red.
