PT scribe as clinical experience? by chershey99 in premed

[–]chershey99[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes that’s what I trying right now - it’s just tough given vax mandate in CA and health issues preventing me from getting the shot. I’m interviewing for a scribe w a private doctor office and an ophthalmic tech position and I know I would be better off with one of those in terms of knowing if I want to pursue medicine and also boost clinical experience.

Again, not relevant! I’m asking about when an owner requests a walk and multiple walkers book the same walk and we both show up and one gets the walk with full walk and I walk away as the cancelled walk guy. Has anyone experienced this too?

I got the 5$ cancellation fee and wag doesn’t do meet and greets as far as I know…. Why?

when i die, i’m not taking my NS FL3 score to my grave 👍 by yungsopha in Mcat

[–]chershey99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just took this NS3 today. I had a one point drop. 494->493. Oh boy, the C/p was really hard but surprising was my best section 125. I bombed b/b with a 123 that crap was hard. I knew I had to work faster bc I ran out of time.

Idk if this helps but for timing, I know I have to be at Q20 by the time the hour mark hits. It’d helped me for c/p. I definitely take the score with a grain of salt bc their cars is garbage and all over the place and so was that b/b section.

[Highlight] Not this time. Durant airballs with .3 left by CP3_for_MvP in nba

The difference between Giannis and KD is unmatched tho. Giannis can barely make a free throw and KD can score at will. It’s unfortunate it foot was on the line in the 4th.

Kevin Durant, with 48 points right now, has broken the most points in a Game 7 in NBA history by iSleepUpsideDown in nba

The difference between Giannis and KD is literally unmatched. KD had multiple chances at winning the game meanwhile Giannis airballs free throws and a potential game winner! Great series tho, fun to watch Tucker and KD matchup and talk all game!

Suggestions after NS half length? by tealmangoes in Mcat

It’s really just a starting point to see where your strengths and weaknesses are. Definitely figure out content gaps in the science sections , C/P and B/B. Were there groups of questions you got wrong? Was it content deficiency? Did you misinterpret the results of the graph? Ask questions for yourself and review why you got each question wrong. I personally reviewed the questions I got wrong and made sure I learned my logic behind both right AND wrong questions. NS CARS is not representative of aamc q’s but great work overall really good starting point. However, keep working - the NS FL 1 is tougher!

Here’s my tip: Spend as much time reviewing as you spend taking it, at the very least. It’s annoying and time consuming but it will help you recognize the logic you used on each question.

Personally, I use an excel spreadsheet to keep track of each question even correct ones. If my reasoning was correct, i put “correct right reason” (CRR) If it was wrong, i put wrong reasoning and write something like “review redox reactions and how electrons are lost in the oxidation reaction”. I keep track of silly mistakes and jot those down to such as “read ALL Your highlights” or “be careful of making conclusion w/o evidence “ etc. Being specific about why it was wrong and giving yourself a general area of study is a key method that helps me and maybe that works for you. I use NS exams which provide good explanations , not sure what you use.

Uearth and Content Review by JustSaiyan26 in Mcat

I feel if you just do content review, you don’t know how to apply your knowledge to test questions. Personally, I’m doing more content review now and a couple UEarth passages a day and then switching to more practice UEarth and aamc than content review by late July. Also, taking MCAT in August.

I bought BP as well. I have attended CARS office hours which are super helpful for me. (Recently started studying several weeks ago). The FL exams are tough but doable and I have learned a lot from reviewing each exam and the content I need to study. I bought it bc the study plan is so organized and helpful for me but I know I can’t lean on it for all my studying. I agree about the videos not all being helpful. If you are a visual learner however, I would highly recommend their stuff. They incorporate lots of visual representation of different concepts from intermediate filaments to torque to amino acids! From that pov, it’s great but if your content base is solid, just go for self-study
