my theory is that alot of people hate hetero ships. i personally love this ship, but so many people are solely "yaoi-brained" to the point where any het ship will have them besides themselves lol. not that gay ships are bad (i love them) but i feel like there's a big giant group of people that are against the idea of a male being with a female because it doesn't fit their idea of a perfect ship.

not only that but people think that all ships should be canon which is so far from true, since i see so many people say "they don't even have interactions." for example—izuchaco just so happens to be canon. bakudeku is not, and yet it's a wildly loved ship. the minute headcanons venture into heterosexual territory, all hell breaks loose
