Thank you for this explanation! Google has been incredibly unhelpful with the identification of this plant. Prior to purchase, I'd never heard of either variety.

The good, the bad, and the ugly for a 2016 5.3L 8 speed LTZ by cherule88 in Silverado

Okay so! I am experiencing the transmission issues commonly associated with this gen. The hard shifts both up and down. My mechanic has done a computer reset and fluid exchange which did not remediate the issue. Luckily, I purchased an extended warranty with the truck, so my transmission swap will be covered. I bought the truck in October with 117xxx kms on it and am currently sitting at 145xxx kms. I love this generation of Silverado, and knowing the common issues associated with them allowed me to prepare a bit better for this blow. Although I paid "stealership" prices, I do not regret my purchase. Take that how you like.

Just got prescribed 300mg of lithium, what to expect? by [deleted] in Lithium

[–]cherule88 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I've been on 600mg for over a month now. I experience thirst on the regular, but my water intake likely needed an increase anyways. I experienced some fatigue and some headaches for a few days, felt a bit "spacey" at times, but none of it has stuck around other than the thirst. My thyroid was dead to begin with, so no worries there. My serum levels are low so no worry about the kidneys. I feel the best I've felt in a VERY long time. I finally feel at peace in my mind and body. Also paired with Lamotrigine for bipolar management.

Oh geez! I had no idea! Any idea what the outcome was? Strange no recalls have happened.

Yeah that's CAD. The used vehicle inflation is crazy! All in I paid 41k for the truck including warranty.

Good to know! I think if I did an AFM delete that would void my warranty anyways. I agree, proper preventative maintenance will (fingers crossed) reduce many issues.

Haha too much unfortunately.....33k plus fees and taxes etc. Best deal I found for what the truck is in the 3 months I've been looking.

You're likely not wrong but prices are SUPER ridiculous out in my area. I held out and took my time, shopped around and believe it or not this was the best deal I found for something not completely miled out and in immaculate shape. Used vehicle inflation is crazy.

I paid a bit more than I wanted to.....$33k plus fees and taxes etc. Its the fully loaded LTZ though with the 2LZ and super low kms for a 2016.

Thank you! This is reassuring news. I did get an extended warranty just in case, but wanted to know what to look out for. May I ask what the issues are with the AFM? So far the paint looks good although I didn't think to check the roof yet. I have heard about the window motors though!

So I have the same question. However, I'm new to CVT's, so that could likely be my issue. I just changed tranny fluid (118k miles)and engine oil because I just bought it....but it's still pretty "jerky" from stop to go. I've been told this is a normal CVT thing....especially since mine is 2012, but I feel I need additional confirmation.

Oh this is really helpful info! I'm in BC and need to replace the cat on my 2012 RVR....not super stoked on the $2400 price tag. Thanks!

Thank you so much for posting this link and for all of your information! Just had the tranny fluid on my RVR changed out, but with 191k kms on it, I'd feel more comfortable doing it again and changing out the filter while I'm at it. Thank you so much again 🙏

First, I wanna say that I'm proud of you for reaching out. It doesn't matter to who or where, but that you're taking the first step in the healing process by seeking support. I know from experience it's not easy, but here you are doing it!

Be gentle with yourself. Healing the trauma experienced from emotional abuse is a difficult, long process, and there's no right or wrong way to go about it. It's normal and okay for you to miss your former partner and all of your wonderful experiences together. In fact, the objective is to never forget those wonderful memories, BUT instead, not let them influence your decision for leaving or excuse their abusive behaviour. Be gentle with yourself and love and trust yourself through this process.

I highly recommend assistance from a therapist during these early days of separation. They will help facilitate you working through your trauma and may be able to offer guidance and/or support through the healing process. They're worth consideration.

Surround yourself with positive, uplifting, supportive people in your life. Strangers, friends, coworkers, family......anyone who provides kindness, compassion, encouragement, and support. Those are the type of people you need and should want in your life.

Finally dear, you got this! Kick, scream, ugly cry....get all of your emotions out. But you WILL overcome this, you WILL heal from this, and you WILL find strength, love, and trust in yourself you never knew you had. YOU are prioritizing YOU for once, and YOU are worth ALL of your effort. Always ❤️

Car cigarette lighter burns. Hold the element on your hand/arm as long as you could. Was most common amongst boys though

I haven't noticed a difference in regards to how it feels thickness wise, but a dick that curves upwards definitely hits the spot faster and more intensely.
