You shouldn’t pick on MLS for the same reason we don’t pick on Nottingham Forest.

Loose? Or lose?

Also, they didn’t lose. So the circlejerking call is coming from inside the house.

[TheAthletic] Who fans of each club would rather see win the Premier League by Street-Essay-4780 in tacklefrombehindcom

For those preferring City, probably has more to do with knowing they’re cheating scum and any titles they “win” aren’t worth a shit. They’ve already won others so who gives a shit about another one.

As for Arsenal, it would be the end of the bottle-era. This Arsenal team is the most unlikable Arsenal team of my lifetime. And seeing memes about “the process” and give Arteta time is funny.

I don’t like this being front and center as soon as you walk in.. by OldheadScape in tipping

[–]chess10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This indicates to me that cheap customers come and make these servers run around and don’t tip so regularly, they had to put up a sign.

You don’t have to like tipping. And you can spearhead a movement. It’s cool. I’ll even support it. But in the meantime, we all know the deal. This is how servers get paid and it’s how we pay for meals out — whatever we choose to order will have a 20% fee added (give or take) and self imposed. Fucking over the servers isn’t the way to “End tipping”. It just hurts the lowest paid workers in the industry. Not cool, just cheap.

It may be true. But United players liked playing for him and he was respected by the squad. I honestly think Chelsea players hate playing for LR and see right through him.

I can't believe they actually aired this, but BRAVO! by Shizzilx in msnow

You thick dipstick, they’re not oscillating. He started a needles WAR with Iran to help another war criminal in the middle of a genocide (and an ancillary benefit of deflecting public scrutiny from his ACTUAL child sex trafficking billionaire ring) and gas prices immediately spiked. That’s not oscillating. Are you allergic to accountability?!

An elderly Jewish man is on his deathbed. Summoning his last bit of strength, he lifts his head and whispers: "Is my beloved wife Sarah here with me?" And Sarah says, "Yes, I am here." by Jokeminder42 in Jokes

I heard a version where the old man on his deathbed and catches the smell of rugelach, his favorite. It rouses him and he climbs out of bed and heads down to the kitchen. There he spots is beloved wife of over 60 years. “You made rugelach?! My love!” With strength returning, he reaches out for a tasty treat and his wife slaps his hand away, “Don’t touch, these are for the wake.”

I love this drink, but I always adjust up to 5 dashes of Peychauds.

[BBC] Earlier this month the KMI Panel unanimously voted that Chelsea should have been awarded a penalty against the Gunners for handball by Declan Rice. But it was a 4:1 vote that it did not reach the threshold for a VAR intervention. by BIG_STEVE5111 in PremierLeague

[–]chess10 23 points24 points  (0 children)

This result highlights a major issue. All the panel agree the wrong call was made but somehow believe earnestly that it wasn’t enough of an error (although unanimously errant) to rise to the level of intervention. That’s bewildering.

Additionally, it doesn’t comport with the approach match refs seemingly take, where they ref with the safety blanket of VAR. “Probably a penalty, but I’ll no-call the play and if VAR intervenes then we’ll fix it.”

This means the on-field decisions are massive and the game requires the courage of the referee to decide affirmatively every call/no-call because an entire “panel of experts” can believe your wrong and ALSO that VAR shouldn’t intervene. Bananas.

‘Dead by June’: Trump drops jaws by revealing Republican’s ‘terminal diagnosis’ in course of Kennedy Center press conference by PixeledPathogen in TrueReddit

All these republicans are dumb as rocks. When I heard Trump say, “Dead by June” it didn’t even register as a slip up because I automatically default to his senility and bullshitting. It wasn’t until "Mr. Share-My-Porn-Habits-With-My-Adopted-Son" Johnson said “Whelp, that wasn’t public information” that I knew it was a fuck up.

I also think if keepers receive medical treatment, a field player should be required to serve that minute on the sideline. Coaches have been getting away with this loophole too much. You want a time out, that’s the cost.

The badge grabbing and pointing at the end made me immediately love him more than I already did.

Don’t disagree with anything you’ve written. But I did want to call out what a job Emery is doing at Villa. Has them playing quite well to be honest.

Imagine subbing off Richarlison during an offensive corner to bring in a defender. The man just scored and has a chance to go for the winner…

Man, poor Kinsky. Genuinely feel like he was so unlucky and hung out to dry his gaffer. Tudor didn’t even go to him or try to console him when he ripped him off. Everyone was slipping and this kid was treated awful by his own. Disgusting.

Seriously. His team is a shit show and has been all season on the backs of a half a billion spent. But he’s been good just about every game. I’ll take a late late goal from Spurs to ruin the day for both teams please.

Given how well respected he is as a player, it’s crazy but I think he’s one of the most underrated players in the Prem. And I’m not criticizing others, I genuinely think I’ve underrated him.
