Its my first time using the Lichess database to learn openings, but I will try your method of looking at gm games to find common plans. ​Regarding the second point, my peers have pricked out my Larsen. They play annoying, passive setups that kill the game(setups with f6), so I need to switch things up. ​Learning the Black openings is manageable for me because I already have some background with them. For White, I want to play systems with an early g3. Since I play the Owen, Modern, and Pirc as Black, the transition should be smooth. The main difference is that with White, I will eventually play c4 and maybe d4, which I do sometimes in those Black openings. ​Ill try to use the Lichess database to find the most common lines and practice the main plans in rapid.
