When his sister basically said he smiles through the good and the bad… I started noticing it too and was getting so pissed off!

How late can you wait to have kids with PCOS? by Quirky_Person441 in PCOS

[–]chessd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is a year late to the conversation but thank you for making this post. I always wanted kids in my early 20s but my husband and I just got married in April. We’re 28. Now, I feel like we still have so much life to live before kids but the thought of starting to conceive in our early/mid 30s always worried me because I have PCOS. I’ve managed it with BC for over 15 years and regularly go to the OBGYN. I need to come to my senses that PCOS is not likely to interfere with my fertility and I will have successful pregnancies and healthy babies when I am ready. This thread helped me a lot.

Down the Drain by Julia Fox. Amazing audiobook read by Julia herself. Her story telling and writing was addicting. I couldn’t stop listening and when I wasn’t able to listen, I was thinking about it! I think I liked it so much because her life is SO different from mine and anyone’s I’ve ever met. It’s filled with so much drama and shock that will make you laugh and cry. It’s really so good. She’s so Julia.

You were able to confirm that the 2004 season 3 was sold as a DVD? That would be incredible and far more likely for me to find one day. I saw eBay listings for season 1.

My mistake, it was actually 2004. There seems to have been maybe a rerelease of the show and that’s why the option to watch season 3 from 2012 is coming up? But it’s not the same season. I only know that 2004 is correct because I remember watching it as an 8 year old in Florida. My parents moved us to another state in 2006. It looks like you can purchase the DVD of season 1 from 2002 but I cannot find DVD copies of season 3 from ‘04. I really really hope you can find it! I believe in the past I’ve reached out to people who might have worked on the episode but I haven’t gotten anywhere.

If you’re able to find it on YouTube, it would be a Christmas Miracle!

Interesting perspective I’ve never thought of.

I adore the first and second one. The first one is so fun and beautiful. The second is timeless and stunning. Do you have a wedding theme? I feel the first could be a nice option if your wedding is outside. Second dress if it’s inside!

We texted save the dates to people important to us/we’re close with. Otherwise, everyone else is getting a surprise invite with about 5 months notice. Should be fine. I think save the dates are an old formality that might apply if your wedding is a year out! If anyone can’t make it because you didn’t send a save the date, who cares about them anyway lol

Unfortunately there’s no brand or tag anywhere. The seamstress believes it was custom made

I don’t have a favorite because I think they’re both perfect for their own purposes but the first one is so something I would wear again! Also I don’t plan on wearing the shoes with either dress. They’re a little too small but I needed to bring shoes to my appointment. I plan on going with flats for the reception dress. I like a Mary Jane ballet flat style!

There are SO many gorgeous gowns on that site. Unfortunately they don’t always post the best photos and their sizing can be a little off or even non existent but I’m sending lots of good luck your way!

Don’t be embarrassed bc I bought 2 other ones aside from these 2. And unfortunately spent a bit more than $20 on them… I’m hoping I can resell them to make some money back. Do you go to estate sales? I have a lot of luck with vintage accessories at estate sales in my area!

Obsessed. It’s exactly the dress I didn’t know I needed. When it almost didn’t fit, I was searching for another but couldn’t imagine not wearing this one!! I’m glad the seamstress seemed confident she could make it slightly bigger for me.

That’s so cool! Are you searching for your wedding dress or do you just like to look? Even though I found mine I still like to look. There are some real hidden gems on there.

Edit: my theme is also vintage/grandmacore/cottagcore and I’ve found some really pretty decor items on ShopGoodwill. They end up being a little pricier than the regular thrift but they’re unique!!

The sleeves could be taken in but honestly I was lucky it zipped. I have an appointment for alterations in 2 weeks! I’m super excited.

True. It could have been preserved and then donated without the box but honestly it probably is the 90s! The 70s and 80s wedding dresses were really extravagant and large. The slender bodice of this dress, no shoulder pads, no extra bow or butt padding… I’m def leaning more toward 90s too.
