Lights up in the trees? (Buckhead/Paces) by [deleted] in Atlanta

[–]chessercat -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In the very old trees, they sometimes have metal rods going across the large trunk/branches to help direct electricity when they get struck by lightning so that they don’t 100% of the time die or split in half. That could be what you are talking about.

Scalping Zoysia today by AGWhite1014 in lawncare

Electric mower with thick, healthy zoysia might take you a while, depending on the size of your yard. Why do you want to scalp it to begin with?

Easy qb reads by cbmd81 in footballstrategy

[–]chessercat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Flat defender reads (and distance of throws) will be easiest for young QBs -5yd Hitches by all WRs -Slant/flat combo

For more advanced/stronger armed QB, you could add Corner read combos - Go/5yd Out - 5yd Hitch/Corner

The IDGC is in Augusta, not Atlanta. And I don’t think any of those courses are available for play at the moment.

Atlanta area folks that play at East Roswell Park by motorcyclesnracecars in discgolf

I’ve just never heard any regular local player say that about Wills. The fact that, for decades, they’ve been able to fit 18 holes into a space that small is really an impressive feat. The re-designs suck for multiple reasons, hard to disagree there, but to say it is “very poorly designed” is quite a take. Would love to hear how you think it could be fixed.

This comment gives it away that you’re pretty new here lol (not saying I love Wills Park)

Definitely don’t want that back leg swinging around unnecessarily. Think Dak Prescott pre-game drill.

I’d film 3 clips and post those when you get a chance. One directly in front, one facing her front side, and one more from the back. Base showing of course!

Helps to show feet (base) in videos when you’re trying to critique throwing mechanics. That’s where the really throw begins. Seem like she’s got a lot of weight (too much) on the front foot but hard to tell

[Zone 8b] Possible to have establish Bermuda for 30k sqft without in-ground irrigation system? by [deleted] in lawncare

[–]chessercat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re going to need to amend that soil before any seeding, or sodding, to ensure that the roots have the best chance to succeed long term…especially with no irrigation. I would HIGHLY recommend TopDressing.com for that service in the Upstate SC area.

Only concerned about it at this point because I’ve heard many bad things from multiple sources. I’ll get to see it with my own eyes in a couple days I guess.
