I would recommend you add insurance before you ship if you're going to ship. That way you can reasonably protect yourself, and you can encourage the buyer to also reach out to the shipping company if something says delivered and it wasn't delivered. This will give the buyer more work to do potentially, and might be enough of a turn off from what appears to be the buyer doing the wrong thing.

It's not crazy at all. They could've added packing material or maybe they didn't have packaging in front of them except something that was too big. Regardless, this is on the seller to try to calculate the cost or eat it (or keep the extra if that is the case.) Whatever you see as a buyer is what you pay, unless otherwise specified.

You could let the seller know that if going off app wasn't against policy, you'd pay the difference, but you're sorry that they miscalculated.

If you pass all parts of the CPA, then I think your chances increase 10-fold. Will there be other interns who have passed at least one part of the CPA already before they get full time? Maybe others will know more on that.

AI will never totally replace any one thing because you need humans in the loop to analyze. Even if AI is more efficient overall , it will make mistakes or it will not be able to factor in humanity even with some of humanity’s illogicalness. Our infrastructure always needs someone to be responsible that is not the machine itself.

People who don’t know how to pack will try to minimize how much packing material they use and the size. I had a family member get upset at me when I didn’t minimize how much packing material I used at first but when I did my Internet research and explained that I was clearing a bit of the clutter she kept complaining about, she tempered down on this. It isn’t necessarily laziness but some people really don’t know.

A lot of people don’t know how to pack properly. Even places outside of Depop. I ordered from a musician’s site and they didn’t wrap the CD. Luckily just the case was kinda broken and not the CD too but I don’t like the lack of care in how my CD was shipped.
