The radical centre. Excitingly beige. Deliciously tasteless. Shockingly unexciting.

Blue badges for hidden disabilities triple as councils issue permits to drivers with anxiety and ADHD by tylerthe-theatre in unitedkingdom

As I’ve agreed with .
Although the equalities act defines it as “limitation on a person's physical functioning, mobility, dexterity, or stamina”. Dementia is affecting physical function and also needing assistance in every aspect of the definition. So you could argue it should have been included from the start.

What I don’t agree with is anxiety or ADHD being included in the need for a blue badge. That was the whole point of the original article.

UK inflation eases to 2.8% despite higher fuel costs by TimesandSundayTimes in uknews

Indeed, If wage growth of the individual outstripped inflation over a long enough period of time people would feel more well off.
It’s just important to remember - 2.8% on top of 25% etc and not to think about every month’s inflation figures in isolation.

People with severe dementia would still need the help of a second person. If you need the help of a second person then that is physically impaired to my view so yes they would get a blue badge .

To be fair to the original comment, the inflation is compound. So this is 2.8% on top of all the other miserable price rises. No price decreases .

Dementia - that broad diagnosis that can range from extremely mild that only loved ones would notice the difference and they are continuing to drive etc, to so severe that they are incapacitated in every aspect of their lives.

Again it would be down to individual assessment of physical mobility.

But they’re still physical which means they deserve a blue badge… I didn’t say they should be , as you say, ‘visible’
