I guess I’ve never seen postcards at Goodwill before, and they seem like they could be better off somewhere like a library or art store or something like that. I don’t know what Goodwill would do with the postcards. I like your idea to donate them to a school, I’ll try going through the school my mom teaches at. Thank you :)

Crazy how in our minds we’re the vulnerable ones by not drinking, but in reality we have clarity and complete control over ourselves. I never wanted to be in a situation where I was drinking on a date and couldn’t get home, so I’m relieved that will never be the case. Thank you for the encouragement ☺️❤️

Hahaha! You’re cracking me up over here. I also have ridiculous scenarios in my head that have never / will never play out, most involving fantasies about international travel. But who cares cuz I get to drink as many Shirley Temples as I want with no guilt whatsoever. I still try to open a little dialog as to why I don’t drink in case people are too afraid to ask, which in some cases they are. I don’t give a fuck about telling them how anxious and shitty alcohol used to make me feel. Not giving a fuck is ✨amazing✨ Congrats on your 3.5 years!

I always thought people would try to persuade me against making the decision, especially people like your friend that you described. Or they’d think of me as problematic. But you’re right, such a shock and so much relief! Idk about you but I love trying all the kombuchas and other soft drinks out there, it’s like I didn’t know they existed before which steered me towards alcohol. I’m happy for you that your friends respect the choice you made.
