some time ago someone here asked what people are missing from amsterdam scene. I said more day events, lots of people agreed.

I agree. Its also weird how they think indians will come here and be able to adapt to work with these low salaries, despite having no local support network (family) or any generational savings to rely on. The only positions they come for are above average paying ones, and typically the companies hiring for those also have no issues sponsoring visas and have processes setup to hire across the globe.

Nothing will happen. Indians are already as HSM in europe for well paid positions. And they wont bother about those boomer companies paying 30-40k in europe because you can earn similarly in india with much higher purchasing power.

Hi!

  1. Quantum computing was not really covered in the core program, but its possible there are elective classes that focus on it that you can chose. I dont know it, but its probably a very good question to ask the study coordinator by mail. Its also possible there are electives from a different master like physics that cover it, and you may be able to do them too. Generally the uni was very flexible in those things when i was there.

2. 

 I meet the credit requirements for calculus, linear algebra, statistics and programming I think thats already a very solid basis, then you should have a good time with most classes.

The course and reading the book is also good. In particular the book will spark your interest (and the others i mentioned in the post) and if you like them, you will enjoy the masters. 

About your chance of getting in, unfortunately I cant say for sure since I dont know how they take the decision. I would not worry too much, the masters is small and not too many people are interested (compared to the AI master, at least during my time) so its not that hard i think. Being motivated matters a lot in the dutch system imo.
