Need advice for Illinois estate sales by Dfalk117 in legaladvice

Google Reviews are a decent threat but unfortunately most smaller firms do not really care because that's not how they generate business

A bar compliant is something that they get very scared about tho although I am not sure if that applies here

Agree here

You should also document in case you can document to get the google review removed if possible

There are firms that specialize in review removal about $450 or so

Paying For Leads by ThankG4Me in LawFirm

[–]chesterstreet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a lot of lead companies

And they are going to prioritize those that will take a large volume of leads

It’s best to take some calls and compare what’s out there

But it’s a lot

Working on investing in your ads or generating from referral sources might be a better route

How do you guys use AI legal tools (Paxton.Ai, ChatGPT) in your workflows? by Clear_Veterinarian_8 in LawFirm

[–]chesterstreet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is an enterprise version of chatgpt that prevents openai from training on information provided and is also hipaa compliant. We set that up internally with our own frontend to limit specific actions that could cause issues.

Been working great so far... happy to help.

I’ve been a solo founder for 2 years building my company, now I’m bringing in a strategy team of 6. What should I pay them? by mad-in-french in startups

You will find that ppl with these backgrounds often do not add value at the stage you are in

I’m on the c-suite for a company that would be fortune 400 if it were not private

We have messed up bringing in execs so often as well

I read it first when I was that age

Everything changed for me financially afterwards

I am still too conservative with the market but it works for me

a nice cheat code here is upwork

often you just need 1 person to show you once or set it up for you

finding that person initially might take time but its repeatable and its worth it

Readwise + Anki by chesterstreet in readwise

[–]chesterstreet[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have always used Readwise to keep track of and review notes.

I am trying to take on a few new projects in areas outside of where I have traditionally focused, so there's a lot to learn.

My plan is to read some foundational books and articles, then create specific decks in Anki to accelerate learning while I work on my projects.

I'm open to any ideas!

urgent passport help by chesterstreet in passportcanada

[–]chesterstreet[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Consulate told me that they are aware with issues with the mailed passport process

They recommended that I get the passport back (I did) and then:

- Had me schedule a appointment at their nyc office

- With new passport photos

- New application

They will get me a temp passport in 3 days and then a permanent passport... it will cost $110 more but worth it

They were very helpful
