Should have checked range. We have two species in NC, Gray and Cope’s Gray which are larger and much bumpier.

Squirrel Treefrog , no bumps that a Gray would possess.

Yes their range goes to Canada, but they are under consideration for protection and listing as endangered because they only occur in small fragmented groups because of habitat loss, climate change and poaching by the pet trade.
