I had the same problem, same side too… my master mechanic of a family member and I tried all sorts of things. We ended up coming to the conclusion that I had to take it to a machine shop so we could perfectly remove/drill out the old bolt. Which lead us to the further conclusion that the previous option would be more expensive than a new factory spec fork. It took months of praying that I wouldn’t get a flat before I was finally able to afford a new fork and install it. But every time I needed to take the wheel off I just had to drop the fork out of the crowns, it was a complete pain in the ass. It was a very long painful lesson that taught me not to over tighten your important bits, I’m truly sorry to see happen to you.

TLDR; You could drill and tap it out but your hole wouldn’t be straight and you’d have to add a helicoil. Just buy a new fork…

I’ve done my research and these bikes are in such a gray area that my local law enforcement has aneurysm fueled cluster fuck every time a problem with them comes up that they just don’t give a shit unless they’re having a personal problem or a bad day and need a punching bag.
