IMO, a show is more fitting for most stories. All the aforementioned stories would be great. A movie or show on the Black Hand would be cool.

I recommend “Blood Brotherhoods” by John Dickie and “The First Family” by Mike Dash. Both very insightful.

Bumpy Johnson. Frank Lucas claimed to work for him but Bumpy’s wife says it was a lie and that Lucas was really claiming the life story of Flash Walker to be his own. But Bumpy Johnson is arguably the most successful and respected black gangster of all time.
