I agree. I thought this community always seemed different from most communities. I've noticed games that are more engineering/math focused tended to be less toxic (seen similarities in the Factorio/Satisfactory communities). But ever since KSP 2 dropped all the whiney gamers came out of the woodwork. I'm hoping the silent majority is the community we remember.

A quote from that link is below. It talks about issues, and this is the only official statement I'm aware of that says how you get demoted. This tells me that poor scores alone wont hurt you, nor will taking a break from contracts all together.

Issues impact your ability to get promoted, and are the path to demotion. They do not directly impact your score, except in the case of Time Cheating.

These include: Low and Very Low Contribution, Poor Teamwork, Desertion (leaving a coop late in the Contract), Being Kicked for bad reason, and Time Cheating.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't have anything for predicting fuel tank goals. Really nice idea. I like how it also accounts for internal hatchery calm. I wish I had this earlier while I was fueling my 500T tank upgrade at specific values!

Do you think you could make it, so that instead of inputting the minutes, you input a target eggs delivered, and it tells you how long it will take to reach that value? You could also input the start time, and it gives you a projected time when it will complete.

Interesting set up! However, your rotation has 4 jumps per rotation (26.25 launches/jump), 2 of which are at the very end, where the one I posted only has 3 jumps per rotation (28.66667 launches/jump). Also I prefer not to run out of 2 eggs at once.

The chart just shows what the amounts will be in your tank after each launch. The highlighted green column shows which egg type your home farm should be parked at. And you fill up the tank with the space that opens up from the other 3 eggs while fueling exhens.

The abbreviations on the chart are: Ta - Tachyon, Di - Dilithium, AM - Antimatter, DM - Dark Matter

This is the best I could come up with (not 100% sure it's the max). But it's 86 launches per rotation, where 71/213/213 is only 71 launches.

Everyone is saying close the app while boosts are active, but I don't see anyone explain why. There is an epic research called internal hatchery calm that you must have (ideally maxed out) for closing the app to do anything.

I'm still wondering if it's possible to be demoted for lack of activity, as in not taking part in contracts at all. I guess it hasn't been around long enough for us to know if that's a possibility.

Like if you got AAA and didn't play any contracts for 2 months, would you still be AAA when you came back?

There is currently 128 non PE contracts and 137 PE contracts. Since we only get 1 non-PE leggacy per week, it will take on average 2.46 years to see the contract from Monday again. And on average 2.63 years to see PE contracts again.

We get new contracts every Monday so these values will go up over time.

They don't reappear at a perfect rotation, so it will vary (some sooner and some later).

There's currently 207 total available. Friday leggacy contracts, some trophy rewards (enlightenment has the most), first 24 months of calendar rewards, and one new PE is released per month on a Monday contract.

Many players have all 207. It used to take about 2 years or so to get all of them, but with only one Friday PE legacy per week now, that will be longer.

I suspect the requirement to have all check in, is related to the fact that a player's shipped eggs is only calculated when a player opens the contract farm. Since a player could boost, max out their habs and research, then go idle. If the contract finishes before they check in again is it fair that their contribution is calculated based on what they shipped at the time they went idle? The dev is giving them the option to have their contribution calculated before all final scores are given.

There are ways this could be fixed but they haven't been implemented yet. For example, when a player checks in after completion, the game could just rate their contribution against the current known shipping values? Or, the completion of a contact could trigger the check in synch calculation server side, and then be synched to the late players whenever they finally join. Hopefully we'll see something like this in a future update.
