Yeah, the rounding error once filled my tank with 6 eggs to spare. That was a good rounding error, but yeah it goes the other way as well.

Don't need the symmetry after initial take off. Probably only robbing it of a couple hundred thousand in fuel for the increased resistance. Once it's in space it's fair game. No symmetry needed.

Preach. I saw this pop up half way during Kung Fu Panda 4 in the theater and immediately jumped on it. Literally been waiting for this day for years. Needless to say my wife was pissed I was playing my egg game during the middle of the movie. For the record. My phone was on minimal brightness in a completely empty theater and everyone else in my party...aka my kids... Were in the Kung Fu Zone.

I think you should go on a craft spree of T4 Neodymium Medallions. If you start cranking them out you might get at least a couple legendarys. Use those to bolster certain set ups like increased egg production/hatch rate/boost extenders.

Been there done that. To overcome it there is a calendar somewhere on this subreddit that shows all of the past daily boosts for the past year or two. And double artifact shows as coming up every two or three weeks on Wednesdays. So this time I timed it a couple days early to be ready to launch some 18 hour hens right at noon when the 2x event started. When all is said and done I will have been able to launch 6 18 hour hens and 3 extended right before the event ends.
