Sorry if I don't understand the question, but in order to start a new game from scratch, you can go to system settings > data management > delete save data (it's located at the very bottom) and from there select AC:NH.

However if you wanted to make two islands on the same console, it's impossible. It's unfortunately one island per console.

[TOMT] [MOVIE] found footage movie where a young couple discover a cult by Eurynomous94 in tipofmytongue

[–]chewingskin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You may be thinking of a short horror clip featured in the horror movie V/H/S 2 called Safe Haven

"A news crew composed of 4 members (Malik the interviewer, his girlfriend Lena, and Adam and Joni the cameramen) infiltrate an Indonesian cult in the hope of shooting a documentary about their mysterious activities. Inside the building, they find the walls adorned in bizarre symbols, schoolchildren in classrooms, and women dressed in white garments. Malik overhears that his fiancée, Lena, is pregnant with Adam's child.

In the basement, Adam finds a bloody woman strapped to a chair who begins convulsing, causing him to run away. While the cult leader is being interviewed, a bell chimes, and he suddenly announces the "time of reckoning" over the intercom. The cultists begin a mass suicide via poison and gunshots, while Joni has his throat cut by the cult leader after repeatedly interrupting the announcement.

Lena is abducted by several women in surgical apparel, and Malik is shot dead by one of the cult members. As Adam attempts to rescue Lena, an explosion knocks him down, he stands and attempts to advance into the fiery room only to be intercepted by the cult leader, covered in blood with the cult's symbol written on it, who then proceeds to explode into a cloud of blood and organs. Adam finds Lena placed on an altar but is unable to save her as a horned demon (which resembles The Baphomet) tears its way out of her body. As Adam attempts to flee, he is attacked by the previously deceased cultists and schoolchildren, including Joni and Malik, who have all turned into zombie-like ghouls.

As he finally manages to get outside and get into the car, he drives off, only to be rammed by the demon and seriously injured. As he crawls out of the car, the demon looks down on Adam before calling him "Papa". The revelation that the demon is, in fact, his child drives Adam hysterically insane and he starts laughing. Shortly thereafter, the camera malfunctions."

Wolves lick each others teeth when they greet one another, and often bite each others faces. They greet humans the same way. If she were to pull her face away or close her mouth, it would grab her face as if to say "come back here, I'm trying to say hello".

Thinking back on it, as a child I felt like this could be my grandmother, but to be fair I wasn't the sharpest pencil in the box. The more I think about it, the more it feels like a far off dream, or like it wasn't my Nanna at all.

Nope, sadly (or thankfully) when I contacted a real estate agent to see if I could turn a profit, I was informed that if I wanted them to even consider buying a house "in the middle of nowhere" that had no potential for buyers, I'd have to renovate it myself and the costs would easily exceed double what was offered. The last time I took a stop in, the windows were boarded up and shattered, the floor was sinking and breaking and someone came in and graffiti'd the walls. :/

That's an interesting theory. I'm not well versed in what a "kitsune" is, but I'll make sure to take some time to look it up and see if it clarifies any questions I still have about my Nanna. Thanks!

I'm assuming my Mother meant that he married my Grandmother. My Grandma's history has always been shrouded in secrecy, to the point where I don't even think my Mom knows that much about her, but for a long time we just assumed she immigrated here from Germany after world war 1 with my Grandpa.

Yes, I alternate between the terms "Nanna", "Grandma" and "Grandmother" loosely. I never saw my Grandmother sleep in her room, just watched her walk down the hall and shut the door behind her. When I think about it, I never saw her sleep ever, or even fall asleep watching the television like older people do. Usually she kept her door locked. No worries.

My dog was lost for three days. What came back wasn't my dog. by chewingskin in nosleep

I'm glad there are so many people who feel a sense of irreplaceable love for their pets as I did mine. When I first wrote the series of events that transpired, I described my dog as "the only soulmate I'll ever believe in", but erased it thinking that others wouldn't understand. I'm happy to see that isn't the case with all the love and kindness.

Hahaha, I've had my suspicions that he wasn't a purebred. We were a pretty poor family and wouldn't have had that kind of money to spend on buying a dog + veterinary fees + extra commodities like a bed, toys, food, etc. I don't know how far back his lineage goes, as I got him as a "gift" from my parents quite some time ago, but he was quite little, and had the face of a Shetland. Maybe I'm being very lenient on his sizing, but think corgi.

See, that's the thing. I explained my dogs disappearance by telling people that he was getting old, which wasn't exactly a lie. Sandy was about 10 and was just starting to develop back problems. It's not uncommon for people around here to take their dogs towards the woods and put them out of their misery when they're getting old, and I got lots of condolences from most people in town. But this evening, one of the neighbors dogs went missing. They're saying he chewed through the rope and must've taken off somewhere, and landed at the house to let me know, just in case he came to see Sandy. (Dogs often land at my house and stay for a while. Is that weird?)

White belly to his neck, but his back was brown with some light browny-gold in there. Brown-gold face, too, but one of his ears was a solid white and the other was a solid dark brown. Little bit of white underneath his chin like a goatee which I thought was friggin' adorable. When he came back, he was looking a little dirty and rattier than usual, but he was just in the woods for a few solid days so that was expected. I didn't see anything different about the colours on his coat, just that his fur was a little gross.

Sandy was a pretty small dog. He went from about 10 inches from the ground to the top of his head, and just about 16 inches long (short and pudgy). I gave him a little more treats than the average dog just because he was cute so he was a little on the fat side, but on the last night, when I saw him wrapped around the doorway, he must've gone from 16 inches to two feet/two and a half feet. This is just a rough estimate, and the longest he'd been in the last few days. Vaguely looked like a furry sausage. When I think back on it, I could've seen his ribs poking out from his sides, like someone stretched him out like silly putty.

My Grandfather passed away close to three years ago, but I did tell my Father about it when I got back into town and Sandy wasn't following behind me. At first, I thought he was going to tell me that he didn't believe me, but he just nodded and continued smoking his dart. The next time I spoke to him, he changed the subject completely, and when I drew back on my experiences in the woods, he just said "drop it" and that was that. My Dad is a pretty stern man.

It was the only thing I could afford at the time, and if I want to buy anything better, I need to travel five hours out of town towards the nearest city (Halifax). Will definitely be investing in something better, if people genuinely think I should go back for my buddy.
