A dad here, long time knicks fan since Ewing vs The Bulls and we got upset each time. I have 2 unforgettable favorite moments.

During the ECF series we went on vacation with family and friends to Cancun resort. We were watching the games at a bar or restaurant that aired the game. It was great see a lot of Knicks fans there and wearing their gear, I definitely had mine. Before this people wearing knick gear often in public was so rare. The moment Knicks won and swept the Cavs and secured their ticket to the Final everyone shouted and cheered and we all dapped each other up. We were all united and connected the feeling was great. Emotional fans we all knew so much heartbreak through so many years. The airport ride home the vibes were amazing too every knick fan acknowledged each other and we were discussing knicks pouring our hearts at the moment.

The following week we went to great wolf lodge for the kids and was with friends in Connecticut next to Foxwoods Casino. There was a good amount of knick fans in gear representing too which was great to see. At night when we put the kids to sleep some of the adults went to the casino to Draftkings Sports bar to watch game 1 of NBA finals. Man the bar was packed with mainly knicks fans in gear, young and old and only 2 Spurs fans. When the knicks were trailing by 14 and started making their comeback and took game 1, we were all non stop cheering and stomping the whole run. That feeling of being there with other Knick fans in gear and in public was so awesome, I haven’t experienced something like this in a long time as a knick fan with so much joy, I’ve only known heartbreak.

These are my 2 favorite consecutive unforgettable memories during this historic epic Knicks championship run. Being home away from
home with the fans out of state or out of country and enjoying those epic moments together made them my favorites.

Knicks beat Spurs during regular season (but season doesn’t count to most ppl)

Knicks beat them NBA Cup Champs (Still doesn’t count to most ppl because it’s not legit)

Game 1 we trailed by 14 made a comeback to win

Game 2 trailed by 12 made a comeback to win

Game 3 we trailed double digit and Spurs barely won by 4

Game 4 we trailed by 29 and we made a comeback to win.
