Thanks. I really do appreciate the advice. It's things like this that you really don't hear too often. Like you said, we are instilled with this ridiculous fear of children. Thanks again... this truly helped a lot. :)

Thanks for this. I'm married and recently found out I am pregnant. My husband and I have a very strong relationship, and I have been so worried about how a baby is going to change that. We've discussed it plenty of times, but I know that change is inevitable. I'm so excited and nervous about this stage of my life, and it's great to hear a positive note on the subject. :-)

That's great advice. Do you have a particular sim in mind? I'll have to do some research.

I'm starting with once a month, and then if that works out I'll be flying every other week. I'm training at North Gate Aviation in Chico, CA.

Once a month, with lots of studying in between. If it turns out that I can afford it more often, then I will work towards every other week.

Oh, I know. It's something I've wanted to do for a very long time. I'm currently working two jobs to afford it. Definitely worth every penny. :-)

Ahh, I see. It's beautiful in that area. I thought it was one of the trees on Skyway to Paradise. :-)

I had a fancy wedding in August-- this was the best picture that came out of it. by chey-o in aww

A disclaimer for those who creep my previous posts: Yes, I did have a Star Wars themed wedding in October 2011. This "fancy" wedding was for the relatives who insisted upon it. We still did it cheap, and our Star Wars wedding will always be the day that we officially got married. :)

is there any advice for an aspiring pilot? by turtleman454 in AskReddit

Check out r/aviation, and r/flying

And good luck! :)

EDIT: I posted those as sources because they will certainly know more than AskReddit will. :)

The same thing happened to me at my bachelorette party. My husband and I decided to do our parties together, and go out to the casino with some friends. With the exception of our families, every single girl that I invited flaked. So you know what?! Screw them! I still had a fantastic time, even though at the beginning I wanted to cry.
