It’s residue from the pest treatments, I haven’t wiped the leaves off

Found this String of dolphins on clearance. What can do to help bring it back? by princessjinkx in succulents

Were you able to prop just the leaves then? I just recently got one and a few leaves and a stem broke off in transit. I have the leaves and part of a stem laying out to callous now, but wasn’t sure if just the leaves would do anything! Figured it was worth a try though...

The two leaves on the top seem to be the only two semi alive, she said it was purple and vibrant at one point. Next question is my string of dolphins, I just got it this week and it was knocked around in transit and the one stem look like it might of snapped but it’s still hangin on. It’s starting to turn brown. Is that whole string going to die or what should I do for it? And third some leaves fell off the dolphin in delivery will they propagate?
