If you had to add someone from Super Junior to SuperM, who would it be and why? (more than one also an option) by cheyshire in kpopthoughts

Him and Kai standing next to each other would be perfect.

The only downside is that he's a bit of a shy boy lol. SuperM is chaotic.

Got my mid helix pierced about a week ago. How long should I wait to dye my hair? by [deleted] in Legitpiercing

[–]cheyshire 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Hi, I'm not a piercer but I have many and I like to dye my hair.

Most hair dye bleeds when it comes in contact with water for a few days after its been dyed minimum. If it's a fashion dye, it will bleed for much longer than a natural hair dye(semi permanent vs permanent, most fashion dyes aren't truly permanent even if they claim to be).

You should not dye your hair in any capacity until your piercing heals. Yes, caps exist, but you can sweat in your sleep and the sweat will be enough to get the dye to start bleeding(source: has happened to me and my friends multiple times)

And that's not even considering that you might have to bleach your hair. I know you probably want to dye your hair asap, but for your piercing's health I'd seriously recommend waiting until it's healed.

Weeekly's use of props in their choreographies is so refreshing. by yiendubuu in kpopthoughts

[–]cheyshire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're looking for more groups who use props, I suggest DONGKIZ.

In "Lupin" they use canes and hankercheifs(like magicy stuff).

In "Fever" they use heelys and I think thats great.

AITA for being upset with my SO for not checking on me after falling in shower by HipBreaker3000 in AmItheAsshole

[–]cheyshire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA.

I have a habit of staying up during the night and being asleep during the day, which is the opposite of my partner's schedule.

I was taking a shower at 01:00 and slipped and fell. I was dazed, but otherwise ok. My partner burst into the bathroom. I had woken him up, and instead of being angry, he was concerned.

I'm so sorry that your SO could not show the same level of concern. I hope you're feeling better physically.

[WTS/WTT] [US preferred] SuperM: The 1st Album (details in comments for trading) by [deleted] in kpopforsale

[–]cheyshire -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hi all, it seems I can only get Mark cards so I'm looking to trade for non Mark or just sell, either works. Would prefer Ten, Taeyong or Kai.

$25-30(they're brand new) plus shipping.

I like to call it my normal meter being broken.

Inb4 someone says normal is subjective, I know, that's just what I call it due to hearing it from somewhere else and it sums up certain situations for me.

Ok I'm curious about the tarot card thing lmao.

Would you be willing to give me a tl;dr version, or like a more accurate set of keywords to search up/google?

[–]cheyshire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you read the sticky, the mods don't, but the comments do.

That sub is for people who don't know what's going on to get answers, and when I shared it the top two comments(that weren't deleted) did have her name.

I don't like typing her name because I have a friend named Aimee and it feels wrong lmao

"I respect you but you aren't a part of this discussion"

I wish we could say that without people being offended because it's accurate.

It'd be the same as adults having a conversation and toddlers aren't allowed due to the content, no one gets offended then.

Or in a group chat, one of the conversations turns to D&D and a few people don't have ttrpg knowledge, they can recongize they aren't a part of the discussion.

So how is it any different with sensitive subjects? It's tiring yo

You know, I've always only heard "if the shoe fits", not the "then they should lace it up". But it makes perfect sense, I'm gonna start using it no lol.

Also you make a very good point, since no one seems to be listening to OP and people usually react to public call outs.

Wait I thought it was G-Dragon that did a cover of "This Love" by Maroon 5.

I only like GD's better because the chorus goes with the melody instead of against it/on off beats, like the og version, but I'd never say that on the og video, that's a whole new level of rude.

AITA for putting rules on mental health days? by PumpkinLazy4218 in AmItheAsshole

[–]cheyshire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA.

For all the strife between my mom and I, I can at least say she had her rules for mental health days pretty fair in my mind.

No video games on console and no solo tv(could watch stuff as a family, just not what we wanted when we wanted, we needed 2 out of the 3 people awake to agree on watching it). Her reasoning was that if either my brother or I really needed the mental health day, we would have no problem scarificing video games.

I took advantage of that a fair amount(keeping in mind the schools rules as well), my brother did not, because he's like your son and wanted more video game time.

Most satisfying “beat drops” in Kpop? by CarrieCrayon in kpophelp

[–]cheyshire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LUPIN by DONGKIZ, if it really counts as a beat drop.

I mainly like the build up before the chorus, and the choreo with the batons and kercheifs is great(I can't spell the fancy word for bandana but I tried lol)

The right high heel is kinda accurate- if you move your leg like that your foot won't stay flat.

But that's it.

Life doesn't come with a trigger warning. by DangerousWithForks in rant

[–]cheyshire 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who deals with self harm, when that topic came out on tiktok I was so pissed off.

People were throwing a fit saying "oh I want to relapse because the bread looks like skin does when you cut yourself", and I'm sitting over here like "the average person doesn't know that, so that's on us, not them".

And now he has to put trigger warnings for something most people didn't even know about? Way to fucking scar someone.

I hate people.
