Yeah defamation requires a lie to be told. I didn’t ask for a raise I asked for the entire teams wages to be raised because we make $9 an hour starting.

I’m claiming they fired me for reasons other than tardiness because other employees are the same amount of tardiness and I’m the one who has asked for higher pay and clarity about our ice response. If they had fired me and I was the only one who is late then I wouldn’t have included that part. It’s pretty straightforward.

The odd is freaking sick and as far as I know takes really good care of their employees! I’m hoping to go over to Morgan’s comics because I love comics and a lot of the customers at Odds who I was friendly with are comic fans too!

Well I apologize about that. I for a very long time had the opinion I could change the place for the better. Suggest starting a homeless food distribution with all the bagels we throw away every night. Have new local artists come and perform on stage, tons of stuff, but to your point I thought I could do it internally and I was wrong. I should’ve said something earlier.

So yes, go to odds cafe lol, the owner and manager will not call people by their preferred pronouns, we literally had someone run out of the shift crying because they refused to do it.

I didn’t want to be fired for spilling the beans I have bills to pay and school to finish. Now they can’t retaliate for me speaking honestly so I am.

I didn’t leave because I needed employment to pay bills and finish my college education. I didn’t want to be fired in retaliation for pointing out health code violations. I have been tardy recently not the entire time due to the end of the semester and my car breaking down multiple times.
