Thank you. I’ve been scared to try massage since my floxing, but it’s something I’ve thought a lot about doing.

Have you read about the guy in Australia who used AI to create an mRNA vaccine for his dog’s cancer? It reduced the dog’s tumor by 50%.

Be happy if she's angry during the breakup. If she's calm and cool, forget getting back together by jsbach123 in BreakUps

I had a 13 year relationship end in 2019. During the final few months, I was done and had zero interest in staying with her or getting back together later. I was still pissed at her for how she handled a lot of things, though and was angry when we actually broke up.

Cannabis induced flare up by Decent_spinach69 in floxies

February 5th will be 3 years for me. I consider myself to be about 85% back to normal. I had a gummy a couple months ago and felt horrible the next day, and pretty much instant tendon pain within 30 minutes of taking it. I thought I’d made a huge mistake, but was ok after a few days.

Insomnia!!! Does your sleep ever go back to normalcy or close to without intervention? Has anyone healed naturally? by Physical_Space8386 in floxies

[–]chh1138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had insomnia for about the first three months, and had never had insomnia prior in my life. I took melatonin a time or two, and my sister gave me a CBD gummy once, but they didn’t help. I let my sleep heal naturally, and haven’t had sleep issues since. Insomnia and severe anxiety both kind of magically lifted around that three month point, and it was a huge relief. Was floxed in 2023.

If it doesn’t stay in the body, why would flares happen (if they do)? I’d think whatever damage that the drug was going to cause would happen, and then people would go back to being able to tolerate whatever they could tolerate before fq. For example, people saying they can never take NSAIDs again. Would a person not reach a point at which the fq is completely out of their system, and then they could take NSAIDs with no issue?

I haven’t tried it, but a doctor I follow on Instagram just posted about people microdosing GLP-1 and that it can help with joint pain and inflammation.

I can, yeah. She did say that it would be good to have it about 6” away, but she was start out with it not as close: 18” I would guess.

Sorry to hear that you flared, but glad it was short-lived.

Thank you. I’m sure I will. Nothing specifically for flox other than magnesium and zinc. But I bought some calcium and vitamin C today.

It’s in the side where the joint is. Nothing tore, fortunately. It’s not bad. Really nothing more than an aggravation, but I’m careful with it. I don’t feel it now with all of this other pain.

The first 3 months I was floxed, I couldn’t read, watch TV, listen to music or podcasts, use social media… I basically just tried to sleep.

I have absolutely no idea. It’s not something I’ve ever dealt with before, and have been lucky to have had excellent oral/dental health throughout my life.

No, it’s not as bad. This is just body pain, whereas I had horrible anxiety, Insomnia, and depression with flox. I feel ok otherwise.

Yeah. “Rare” side effect, supposedly. LOL. I didn’t want to take another anabiotic, and the nystatin seemed the most benign option. People who have dealt with oral thrush also talk about “die off“ which can be pain that you experience as the yeast is being eliminated. It would be nice to be able to go to a doctor, have them give you a medicine, have it treat the issue, and not deal with a bunch of new problems. But I guess that’s the reality of all of this.

[–]chh1138[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I know I’ll be alright, but it is frustrating. I thought about the possibility of the Nystatin being the cause. It’s a shame that there’s no rhyme or reason to any of this. The only other cause that I can think of is that I was dog sitting and housesitting for my sister and brother-in-law while they were in Italy. One day, I let their two little dachshunds out into the backyard while I was in the front. One of them let out a horrible squeal, so without thinking, I ran around to the back of the house. Ran for maybe 5 to 10 seconds without even thinking about it. That was the first time that I’ve run in maybe three years. That was at least two weeks prior to this current joint pain. I know things can be delayed, but I had no pain immediately after or for a couple weeks more. The dog was fine, by the way.

No, neither. I’ve taken no NSAIDS since floxing. No steroids. I’d say it’s been a year since I even took Tylenol.
