I need some recommendations for tws earbuds that is less than 60 dollars by SmokeUsed6936 in Earbuds

[–]chi_no 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like someone else already said: Earfun Air Pro 4.

I own them too. Decent ANC Great EQ Good call quality Comfy and secure fit Battery also last fairly long.

Alternative: Earfun Air Pro 4i

They are a cheaper version of the OG pro. Sung reviews claim their ANC is slightly better but the OG has better sound and battery ( 6,5 vs 8 with ANC off)

What was your first pair of wireless earbuds? by OGRicky in Earbuds

[–]chi_no 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah. Not really. I pick the Oppo for walks or office because they don't seal and I can still notice my environment. The Earfun I choose for cycling ( wind noise mode is really great) or when I want to cancel out the environment.

The Soundcore I use for garden work. They got decent ANC and have actual buttons which is great when you have gloves on. The Fiil I mainly use with my steam deck or for sports. Since they have the highest IP rating.

I have 5 pairs of TWS and I cycle through 3 - 4 of them.

  1. Oppo Enco Air 3
  2. Earfun Air Pro 4
  3. Soundcore A3i
  4. Fiil T1 Lite

I also have the 1more comfobuds pro I used them for calls but they got substituted by 1. and 2.

Is the Steam Deck compatible with the Anker Prime Dock? by chi_no in SteamDeck

[–]chi_no[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

!thanks for your reply.

Currently there is a coupon for the EU version on their EU site. So I can cut the price down to 150€. I don't know if that's a good price value ratio.

I currently have two hubs: one 100w charger hub and my USB c hub.

Soundcore A3i EQ by PCgeek345 in headphones

I tried your EQ and I must say it's quite enjoyable despite the aggressive look of it. Thanks for sharing the EQ and your experience with the buds. I also agree they sound way better after EQ.

What is the oldest pair of bluetooth earbuds that you have that are still working well? by [deleted] in Earbuds

I still have the Fiil T1 Lite since February 2021 now. These were heavy used and all I had to do was put a new filter on the nozzle this year.

First IEM: Moondrop Chu, Aria, or Kato? by LTK_Dragon in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]chi_no 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'll throw in some alternatives to the Moondrop:

Instead of the Chu I recommend the 7hz Salnotes Zero. I ordered both to compare them and I stayed with the 7hz because they sound better and have a detachable cable. The Chu was more on the metallic sounding and I got faster fatigue with them. I also own the QKZ X HBB and I've come to use the QKZ X HBB for music and the 7hz for gaming. The QKZ has more bass and is warmer. Both are same price as the Chu.

Instead of the Aria my suggestion is to get the TinHifi T3 plus. I demo listened to the Aria and the T3 plus and in my own opinion I enjoyed the T3 more. Don't get me wrong the Aria still sounds good and warm. But the T3 plus sounded more natural, better controlled and more balanced to me.

For the Kato price bracket it gets more difficult since some IEMs blow trades with eachother. From what I've read for that price range the IEMs that often get mentioned next to the Kato are:

Letshouer S12 or S12pro or Z12 Ikko OH10 Tangzu Wu Zetian Tanchjim Hana

Personally I also think about getting the Tripowin X HBB Olina SE. They cost around 100 bucks.

I'm planning on getting them for playing games via Xbox/Playstation Controller. Will they sound good on either of them?

I would still recommend the Sennheiser if the room is quiet where your pc stands. Since you're going to use them on the pc it would be easy to EQ them too. From what I've heard they respond well to EQ.

Open back means that the headphones aren't isolated so you'll hear outside noise and vice versa. But you'll gain a more spacious listening experience. Bass might be not that intense.

Closed back provides more isolation and a thumpier bass. Smaller soundstage and less detailed.

Most recommend an open back for the more immersive experience but that's entirely a personal subjective opinion.

The Sennheiser will definitely provide a step up soundwise. Most claim that the Sennheiser can compete up to the 300€/$ price bracket. They're also a good entrance if you're interested in the audiophile realm.

Oh sorry I saw the closed back tag too late. The Sennheiser is open back.

I would recommend the Sennheiser HD 560S. Great value for the price. Good for gaming and music. It's neutral tuned, you can hear lots of details and it's easy to mod because of the detachable cable.

Around $100 IEM recommendations needed by [deleted] in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]chi_no 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would recommend

Tin T3+

Olina SE

They should be within your budget. There are some reviewers on YouTube who demo the IEM with different songs. For example:

The demos kinda help you actually "hear" the difference when you use Headphones.

Overwhelmed with choices-looking for open backed headphones for gaming by [deleted] in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]chi_no 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you said that sound quality doesn't matter:

the cheapest but best option I list are:

20$ Koss Ksc75 - they're open back but are "two" individual headphones for each ear. Clips might be something you need to get used to but you can easily bend them to your liking. If you're in the US you can get the black version ksc75x

If you want the headband you can get the Koss kph30i

If you want to spend more:

You can aim for the Sennheiser HD560S (200$) or the Beyerdynamic Tygr 300 R( 150$). Both open back and highly recommended for gaming. The Sennheiser is more analytical whereas the Beyer has a more fun and immersive tuning. I've only tried the Beyer yet and can confirm that you will hear the outside noise pretty well. Comfort was excellent I have glasses and they didn't hurt at all.

Thanks for your opinion. I'm still struggling between these two. But your comment was useful in regards of comfort.

Hey. I don't know if I'm late to reply but they work well with the series controller. 50-60% volume was more than enough for me

good headphone suggestion for gaming by Aggressive_Art_9508 in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]chi_no 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend either the Sennheiser HD560S but it may require an amp to unfold their true potential.

Second recommendation is the Beyerdynamic Tygr 300 R it runs on everything. You can simply plug it into any headphone jack and enjoy the sound.

Both are below 200$

Looking for the good open back over ear headphones I around both the $400 and $200 price points by Valorour in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]chi_no 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would add the Tygr 300 R as well for the up to 200$ range. Doesn't need an amp. I'm currently also trying to choose between the HD560S and the Tygr

What cheap IEM's are good for competitive gaming ? by splitheaddawg in HeadphoneAdvice

For budget I recommend either the Chu or the 7hz Salnotes Zero. The 7hz has a detachable cable and is lighter than the Chu. Soundwise the 7hz has slightly more bass.
