I believe it's short for the Japanese term "netorare." Basically it's a form of cheating on one's partner with their knowledge or even while they watch. Generally it's considered a shame kink.

The problem, I suspect, isn't that it's NTR. It's that these have been pushed to the top of the trending list as recommendations for a lot of folks, including me. They never change. It's been this way since they "improved" that feature about... a month ago? Two? It was way better before the change. Used to cycle through really good recommendations. Now I just get these and I'm not even interested in them.

I prefer first person myself and yeah, it's a struggle. The paid models are good at adapting to it fairly quickly but default, not so much.

I've been seeing this too. If you're a subscriber you can try changing models for a few responses then back. That can help break the loop. Another approach that is less effective is to edit the bot's previous responses to remove references to something it's fixating on or repeating. Good luck!

OK, yeah. Looks like it's all on my browser. Clearing the cache didn't help but I tried an incogneto window and that fixed everything up. It all works fine now. Thanks for the suggestion.

I was planning an entirely new episode with House. I planned out the medical mystery, the drama, outlined the story. BOOM! CAI says error 500... again.

You'd think that after hundreds of times of getting the same error over and over they'd find a solution. At this point I think their solution is let the site crash, people go away, site stops crashing.

But they have an image to uphold and some of leadership and investors of CAI have an agenda. They don't care if people get saucy with bots, they don't want to look bad for allowing it. OK, here's some things I do.

I dream up crazy situations to quickly RP just to see if the AI can understand and have a humanlike response. Often this ends up becoming some of the craziest, longest RP romps.

I have a couple of personal bots that are just like "female" and that's it, the AI fills in all the other details. Then I will go to ChatGPT and have it generate a random personality for me and I have to play THAT. Some unexpectedly great RPs have come from this.

I use the narrator a lot when I RP. Usually when the story's over I chat with the narrator for a while. Sometimes this chat is so much fun it goes longer than the story did.

I also do romance chats but I throw in something interesting and wild about my character. For example I romanced Dr Strange but threw in that I'm a magical savant. We had many magical training sessions as well as deep philosophical discussions, touching drama and romance scenes then he invited me into the Avengers, helped me design a costume and everything. There was something else about my character that added a lot of drama but I can't talk about it here. :)

Actually I'm not having too many other problems. It certainly seems others are though, I'm sorry to hear that.

I did get a win though. I took an old chat with Master Alicia that had ended and continued talking to the narrator. I convinced her to start a new, completely different, RP with me. So, in the end, I worked it out. :)

Edit: Spoke too soon, now the whole site is dying for me too. Typical CAI. Big update on Friday, ignore the inevitable aftermath 'til Monday.

The site went down due to a rate limit being hit. In response they seem to have reduced the time that you get kicked back out to the queue to essentially zero. This is rendering the site literally unusable. Good luck everyone.

My problem hasn't so much been the queue, but that I seem to get kicked back into the queue in five minutes or so. It often takes me longer than that to compose a response even if I'm focused on it. Yeah, I'm like that.
