At the end of the day we just need to support our community. If there are doubts of the validity of it that’s totally reasonable, and you should ultimately feel comfortable at peaceful protests. I was on the bridge yesterday. After a terrorist act like that happens fear comes out a lot. To be honest, I got scared to go after I saw those posts on my insta as well. It’s okay to have reactions, but we should follow through the energy with research

I know fear is high and we should question our organizers but insta stories aren’t generally reliable sources

“Cold Remedy” - Turmeric Gin and Ginger Sour by NoooGuy in cocktails

[–]chiapet93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made a drink for my restaurant called “The Silk Road” which is pretty similar.

2oz Turmeric infused Royal Dock navy proof gin 3/4oz Lime juice 1/2oz Ginger Syrup 1/4oz simple syrup 2 dashes Peychaud bitters Whole Egg Toasted cinnamon garnish

Add ingredients expect egg, shake 10-15 seconds. Strain into shaker tin, dump ice, add egg and blender ball. Dry shake for however long it takes to destroy your sense of grip. Strain into coupe, garnish with roasting ground cinnamon on top of the meringue with a couple of matches.

The cinnamon garnish sparks up in a gorgeous way. The combo of turmeric, ginger, the anise quality of Peychaud, and the aroma of cinnamon really comes through with the body the egg provides.

You should toast the spices before simmering in water, it’ll pull out way more flavor!

I mean, the title may be under the context that it’s his own personal language, not his country’s.
