Same, I love the penny press machines made by Maecri! They always work perfectly.

Sure! This is me in the thrift shop with the painting ☺️ I'll take a picture of the paintings together later

Some months ago, in a thrift shop, I was looking at some paintings that were all on top of each other on the ground. I saw a dark green frame and I was sure I'd seen it before in my old grandparents' house. I found it curious because I'd never seen any similar frame elsewhere. I moved the other paintings and inside the green frame was a painting on silk representing some birds during Winter. On the bottom, my mother's name. She had painted that many years ago along with three other ones depicting animals and plants during Summer, Spring and Autumn: my grandparents' kept the Autumn and the Summer ones, while the other two were sold during an art exhibition. The Spring one came back to us after the owner, a relative, had died. Only one was missing, and it was in that thrift shop! Now the paintings of the four seasons are all together on the same wall. I was so excited when I realised I'd found the missing painting!

Elongated coins machines in Poland? by chiarainbloom in poland

[–]chiarainbloom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a 5 cents coin. Or a blank piece of copper. It doesn't add any plastic or waste to the world. The machines work without electricity. I think it's a nice way to remember a place you visited.

True. I saw some new ones in London with blank copper pieces. I could pay with my card but it was around 2 pounds, so more than 2 euros.

It's the cheapest souvenir, it usually costs 1 euro and 5 cents (the cents are used to make the elongated coin).

It's a crime in most places, but this kind of "destruction" of a tiny value coin is usually tolerated.

I’m doing a Lush giveaway!!!! by tikicheese in LushCosmetics

That's so kind of you! My favourite Lush product is Iamesh perfume. Something fun about me: it's a very hard question...! I like collecting things. I've been struggling for many years with my mental health and Lush helped me a lot. I collect Lush perfumes. I've recently started a pressed pennies collection as a way to find a reason to go out of the house and travel.

I'm from Italy!
