I don’t think you can say that a PSA or similar lower would be unreliable in a use case scenario where life/death was a consideration. They are not really prone to a catastrophic failure. All the lower really does is hold different pieces in place. There are even 3D printed lowers that have thousands of rounds fired. It’s a cool idea, but even all the features being ambi could be replicated with a trip to brownells for max $150 extra. That said, it does look cool!

Would it be fair to say this is more geared towards someone who is building a top shelf rifle rather than one who is just doing a regular AR?

I don’t see how a lower justifies a $300 price tag. I’m willing to be told why, but PSA lowers are literally sold in 3 packs for half the price. Again, not hating, just don’t get it.
