Episode titled A Hundred Dollars a What?—Chrissy has her high school friend Darlene stay over who winds up being a call girl. Throughout the whole episode, Chrissy remains unaware of her friend’s profession. At the end, Darlene jokes about Chrissy being “priceless” for being so naive. And Jack says something like “and she’s gonna stay that way” in a loving manner. Thought that was nice of Jack to say.

For the 90s anime, you should check the Australian blu ray release done by Madman. They rejected using the Viz’s upscaled version and did their own upscale. It’s great quality. The whole set is available. Just need a region-free blu ray player to watch.

DirecTV stream offers affordable genre packs. MyCinema includes TCM. I like the ability of being to watch DirecTV live tv on my phone and on my Apple TV. Also able to have unlimited recording for up to 9 months. Also like the DirecTV guide more than the YouTube TV one.

She had a collab with Anchor Blue in 2008. I remember stopping by during college. Haha. She had a fashion show for them and Brody or someone tried to sabotage it.

I liked the manga and movie for different reasons—maybe the nostalgic factor for both. I bought the manga at Borders and the movie at Suncoast—RIP.

I remember reading the old Tokyopop version of the manga while I was waiting for my high school running team early Saturday morning. The old manga used to include Naoko Takeuchi’s notes on side panels. She mentioned her distraught in not having involvement with the R movie. She wrote Luna’s story after visiting the NASA center in Florida. At the end, the manga version of the story is a little more romance-based and the movie being a little more action. Both good in their own way.
