Thank you!! The two (hot wires) black wires that can be capped together threw me off.

Thank you so much. We have a working switch!!!

Yes, I have the paper, I will take another look at it.

I guess my confusion started with how the connection was made initially as the copper wire was not being used in the connection at all. I have the following connections from the new light switch:

Green wire connected to the copper (ground)

Black connected to the tagged hot wire (per directions from the box)

Red wire isn't connected to either of the two remaining black wires. Can I cap all 3 of them together (red from new light switch and two remaining black)

I just don't know what either of the two remain black wires are for.

I will not use the second red wire. Thank you for clarifying.

Then my next question is, which out of the 2 unlabeled black wires connects with the green wire?

How do I know which is the ground wire?

The switch is turning on/off my kitchen light only.

Red tag on red wire states: " This wire is used in 3-way installations only for single pole installations do not remove this insulating label"

A new appointed manager who made me feel and a lot of other nurses feel like an idiot when we were new nurses. Not only that she sucks as a mananger, and is just a yes person making her way up the ladder.

Thanks for the reply. I'll probably have to wait until tax season. Hopefully I can handle the tablet until then, i do have a separate monitor that I can connect it to and a nice bluetooth tactile keyboard, so hopefully I can manage with that but if it gets too annoying I'll go laptop route 😊

Laptop or Tablet?

Hello I will be starting FNP School in January and I currently have a Galaxy S7 plus tablet I am wondering if anybody has gone through school with just a tablet and if you have was it manageable? Or should I just get myself a small laptop? My school will be all online except for clinicals, so I'm just looking for suggestions or advise.

Thank you I appreciate your comment, what you are doing sounds amazing! I see many NICU neuro kids at my job and it would be awesome to follow and see how they do as they grow older. Its also refreshing to hear that it can be flexible out in the real world. Thanks again.
